3.987 this morning (or rather last night)....

So if you paid (they wont charge immediately) you should be laughing to the bank...

At this level... to be frank, I shorted the Ringgit...

If can have 3.5, 3.6 rate for yen I happy ady; yen used to be as low as 3.0 to 3.3. Yes, it was that low.

Fortunately my order number is very low currently.

Good Smile Company has another Albedo figure on the way. You will probably see the prototype in WonFes this late July

Anyone tried taking transferred orders from people from myfigurecollection? Is it safe? Because the way it works is that you transfer the money to their paypal first and only they pay to the respective website. hmm.gif

I transferred my order to ppl before, and i also took ppl's orders before.
Well the catch is when you transfer money to people, paypal will charge the recipient a fee. So, the recipient might charge you that fee. It is about 4.5% if not mistaken. If you are taking someone's order, and the total is 12,000yen including shipping, u might have to pay him 12,540yen approx (but he/she will only receive 12k; paypal takes away that 540yen as a charge).

One way to send payment without getting charged by paypal is to select a "send money to family" option when sending money, but this feature is only present in some countries - not available for malaysians. When u transfer via this method paypal will not charge the recipient, but should anything happen (like getting scammed) you cannot dispute it to paypal or take any action. Under normal private one-off payment/sending money methods, u can dispute the transaction if anything happens.

When I transfer my order to other ppl in MFC (it's better than cancelling an order that i dont want anymore for any reason), I make it easy for other ppl who wants my order though. I will first ask for the buyer's address, name and phone, then update my order. Once updated and after i receive an invoice asking for payment, I change my login password temporarily in amiami or any site where my order is, then i give that person my login pass and he/she login into my account to complete and pay for the order himself. This way, i dun have to charge the buyer than 4.5% of paypal fee. As long your account has no sensitive information - saved credit card numbers, it's fine. I dont mind the buyer seeing my real name, my address, and my other orders, not like they can do anything with it lol.

Go to the item's MFC page and just comment something like "Giving up my PO on Amiami/etc"...Those who missed out on PO and looking to take someone else's would normally be subscribed to any new comments for that particular item...

You can try https://www.reddit.com/r/AnimeFigures also I guess.

I've seen some people giving away their preoders here before.

Go to your top right corner button where your name is shown, drop down menu > My shop > create an ad

You can only add one new sale per week.
For me, to give buyers a peace of mind (buyer protection), in my sales ad i also provide an ebay link. I sell on ebay also because buyers are protected by Paypal. But creating listings on eBay is not easy, u need to learn from trial error. And then there are lots of rules on how things work. For example, after someone pays you, paypal holds on the money - u will only receive the money after 20 days from payment date. Especially true for new sellers.

U can sell directly on MFC, and if u do sell it (without going through ebay), after receiving payment, get ready for a call from paypal's HQ in shanghai haha. They want to check if there's a scam going on because no one privately sends hundreds of USD to a stranger without a reason.
