I am getting annoyed for not being able to use my HSBC credit card to pay items at https://www.amiami.com/eng/

Do any fellow collectors here use HSBC credit cards and are able to receive OTP upon payment check-out at AmiAmi?

I have called HSBC many times and they couldn't help. Keep telling me that nothing is wrong and they can see the transaction OTP has been sent. But I cannot receive it. I even called my telco provider and again they said it is not their problem either, OTP is sent from the bank.

I know I can use PayPal but I want to avoid it as they are charging high conversation rates and service charges.

thinking back, is it better if I cancel my preorder of the figure I mentioned? it contains one body part wearing bikini and another body part completely naked. the total cost of the figure is around MYR700-750 probably including tax.

I'm really worried about the figure getting confiscated and worse being thrown in the trash by the customs. completely wasting my money.

Can ask online local shop to help you order even it cost more better then being confiscated by customs.

I noticed that I never have problems with figures when I hand carry it back...

Once I had a huge suitcase stuffed with figures probably around 6~7 (cant put more cause box huge), customs scanned, no questions asked

Been a while since my last purchase (2021), I was debating on getting this one as I pretty much already stopped this hobby due to high prices and lack of space. Yesterday when I saw a B/B grade going on sale on Amiami, and after doing some calculations with the current exchange rate + shipping, I realised it came up to barely below RM500 so I won't get taxed. After a short chat with a friend, I took the plunge and placed my order.

Any chances a figure costing JPY 11,880 + Air Parcel JPY 5620 = total JPY 17,500 can escape customs?

Surface Parcel will cost JPY 3,400 but I am slightly hesitant due to the long waiting period and I have never had something go by surface from Japan before.

Hey guys, new to Japanese collectibles and wanted some opinions. Recently got on the Demon Slayer train and looking to get my very first Mitsuri figure.

Any brands you'd recommend? The ones that I saw were GoodSmile, Banpresto, SEGA. Quite a few names to choose from and don't know where to start but noticed GoodSmile's quality seems to be the best atm.

I bought a figure from Mandarake and my figure just got detained this morning since its RM500+

How much for the tax rate?
If appoint Poslaju agent, will the agent open the box to do kastam inspection ?

This is my first time kastam detained my parcel huhuhu ;_;
(Also the figure in question. Hopefully pass the inspection ;_;

They did open the box to check the content since there is sign of opening on the figure box.
I was really scared if got rampas by kastam ;_;

If you don't mind me asking, how much was the custom fees? 10%?
