Well I contact the Bintulu post office for 2nd time regarding the option to ask poslaju become as my behalf to collect the item but still no solution.
I wont drive for 600km (300km to go their HQ and another 300km to return back to my place) just for picking my stuff. They even threat me to send back the item to its origin & I said just send it back with my anger tone.

Actually the kastam at Sabah and Sarawak likes to hold on ppl's parcels a lot more than the one in kl.
My friend buy total rm400 only also got held by kk kastam, and he had to go there to pick up the item and open it to show it to them even though he didn't have to pay a single sen.

Now I can just hope that it will start moving soon and receive no love letter from them.

I finally heard back from poslaju, turn out my item got held by custom.

No reason provided on why it is held, phone call din't work, and obviously no letter. 

Total value is only RM410 include shipping.

Quite nervous because it is a loli figure from okayama.

Just want to ask.  Shipping toys from Japan to Malaysia by using DHL eC Packet Plus will kenak kastam or not? Price of the item is 1400 yen only.  Normally i use SAL but the price different is quite a big gap of RM15 and RM26.  Heard that most of the time those foreign courier company items always kenak detain by our KASTAM.

Yes they will hold a figure, but if they do not allowed the import, they will/suppose to return it back to sender. They will not keep it.

DO note the reasoning can be quite arbitrary, see mood.

As for me, I will just pay the PosLaju fee to have them clear it for me, not worth the trip and hassle down there

thinking back, is it better if I cancel my preorder of the figure I mentioned? it contains one body part wearing bikini and another body part completely naked. the total cost of the figure is around MYR700-750 probably including tax.

I'm really worried about the figure getting confiscated and worse being thrown in the trash by the customs. completely wasting my money.

i recently deliver item from japan using DHL,the item around rm380 and shipping around rm80,and i have been taxed and ask DHL, they tell me my parcel value total is rm700 and the receipt show that my freight value,which is shipping cost was rm320. And they say custom have their own calculation but i dont understand how it become rm320. My item only around 300gram even calculate with volume weight also around 600gram only.Anyone have experience regarding this

What i mean is the actual shipping fee i paid is around rm80 just that because custom think is rm320 so total value become >rm500 then kena taxed. I use JPgoodbuy for proxy shipping.

Also the fastest exprience with DHL is 2 day from Japan to delivered my house in kuching,sarawak
