i think the true successor of M3300 should be M4300.
but no news yet. but im still hoping it'll come out.

i think its because the E3100 has bandpass subwoofer.
overall sound doesnt differ much, but the bass characteristic is really different.
the E3100 produce low bass which is good for music listening.
but when it come to very low freq like for those in game and movie,
you'll find M3300 bass better than E3100.

in clarity, i must say that M3300 is brighter than E3100.

agree. the M3300 reflx bass is how to say ah... like so flat..
i just bought a speaker that has similar bass characteristic to E3100 last PC fair in SG.
very satisfied with the speaker... just that this speaker no brand one..
cause when i go to edifier booth, nth impressive me except the S2kV.
but of course my wallet wont allow me to take that

crazily, the spaker that i bought is bandpass 5.25 inch. but yet it's abit heavier than my M3300 sub which has 6.5 inch driver... any idea? perhaps the woods is different? (better sound > more weight )

M3300 bass = powerful but "less weight"
E3100 bass = less powerful but got "more weight"

since M3300 and M2300 have same woofer, i only could suggest put the subwoofer near to your ear...
for my case, beside CPU tower is good already, compared to below table.

M3300 and M3400 controller are different in physique
but has same interface (serial-alike port)

every shops that i came to, always shows M3300 more expensive than M3400 and M3310.

M3310 and E3100 subwoofer are 5inch bandpass subwoofer. E3100 sounds better than M3310 imo.
M3300, M2300 and M3400 subwoofer are 6.5inch bass-reflex subwoofer. however M3300 and M3400 bass characteristic are different one another... M3400 is bit "loosen" but while M3300 is "tight"

and comparing the vocal and clarity between M3300 and M3310, i should say there are very slight different between them. it's because they share the identical satellites. (the difference i spot so far is only the M3310 tweeter grille color is chrome rather than silver in color like M3300).

from what i audition, M3300 win in ALL terms instead of M3310.
i know M3310 has a function so called 3D just like stereo widening effect or WOW effect that enhance the sounds reproduction but i don't think that's useful cause my ears prefer M3300.
so does my friend who also audition it and even the shopkeeper who sells it.



different ears have different taste..
some people like to listen to heavy bass while some prefer clarity from the speaker.
SQ is rather general, but the problem is people do not agree each other about the "quality"

if you compare RM100 speaker with a RM1000 speaker i bet RM1K will have much better SQ.
but if you compare similar similar priced speakers which are competitive.
some says A is better, some says B and even some says C.
hence. the best is to listen to the speaker yourself to know which one suits u the best.

the new S2.1D (S530) or old S2.1D??
the new one is sure better...
but for the last S2.1D.
some people said S2.1D better than S2.1M while some vice versa.
the nice thing about S2.1D is that it has optical and digital connection...
