QUOTE(killdavid @ Dec 31 2007, 07:06 PM) No you shouldn't. For my M3300, the bass actually sound tight and punchy facing the 'hole' or rather the hyperbodial port. When facing the woofer grille, the bass is muddy. you were totally right. thats the major weakness of M3300 sub actually... QUOTE(Skylinestar @ Dec 31 2007, 07:23 PM) for mine, under a table isnt very good, beside cpu tower is great as long as your ear is near to the front side (port). on the corner of the room., however, will produce better sounds, especially when the sub is about 1m+ away from your ear imo. |

QUOTE(kucingfight @ Jan 6 2008, 01:11 PM) Ok i've read thru half of this thread, looks like the recommendations goes to E3100 & M3300 . MM i'm keeping my options open ( & to increase my budget) to 5.1. How is the R501? What's the diff with MKII thingy? how does the R501 compares to C3 in 2.1 mode, or a totally different lower league? pardon my stupidity. R501 is the old model.R501MK2 is the newer ver.,, which include tweeter in its satellites... well, generally, R501 is an old product, and C3 is new one, so i do suggest get a C3. unless you're into gaming and movie. 5.1 have general advantage, which is the "surround" effect which is useful in gaming and also movies. hence, generally it depends on your needs,, music or movies come 1st?? Cheers, no need to shame one., neither man is perfect. |

i think he means windows media player...
not winamp.... anyway, i greatly recommend using ffdshows decoder for wmp11. the sounds alot alot impoved, especially in the bass part... (using LFE crossover). can be used for 7.1 system too.... but well of course, if properly configured.... if interested i'll explain how to configure from the beginning... |

first, need to make sure the one u used is the latest one.
to make sure. install k-lite codec pack 3.65.full edition. (search in google) then, make sure everyfile is handled by wmp or mpclassic. later then i;ll give screenshot about the configuration of everything.... (kinda busy today) |

QUOTE(kucingfight @ Jan 18 2008, 05:17 PM) yeps.hmmm i get it in SG during the last PC fair. now still selling, but at 72sgd Here. (i bought at 58) while M3300 is 80-90 and mp300 is 90-110. it has bandpass subwoofer, so similar to E3100 in terms of bass, but lot similar to M3300 in terms of clarity. not so much on brand and specs., but the sound really satisfy me for its low-price... ( i nearly get a R401 before that since priced 55 that time and my M3300 put in my desktop.) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « actually not so brilliant, but considering the price-to-sound ratio, i think this just good 4 me.... |

based on the specification, yes,
http://www.ninjalane.com/display.aspx?docname=e3100 all the subwoofer-satellites-tweeter are magnetically shielded... but does your image stretched since the 1st day of usage.?? if yes., then it means maybe u have to place the speaker somewhere further from the monitor.... if no, maybe u need to visit the showroom and do a repair.... |

QUOTE(QuickFire @ Jan 19 2008, 11:30 AM) no it only started to stretch since yesterday, the 10th day of using my new speakers. how far should I place the speakers from the monitor anyway? I see most people place them right beside the monitor and have no problems. yeah. i think i ever put alot of speaker exact next to my CRT tv oso no problem one... (not sure bout CRT monitor)but of course if lcd will never got such thing.... 10 days...?? so weird one... so it means if u turn off the speaker the image no longer stretched?? wahh u should consider RMA bro.., since its just 10 days... maybe they can change it straight to you... Good luck... QUOTE(andrewL @ Jan 20 2008, 11:28 PM) guys.. could you give sum feedback on Edifier S530D as well it's estimated price? thx in advance yes indeed.im actually looking for a speaker within the price range of approx RM200 that comes with a controller with headphone output. and LCD display would be fantastic. im not exactly a die hard audiophile so as long as the sound quality is above average that's enough for me. what i would prefer is convenience. i've been looking at M3300 but does it have a headphone input? it does have headphone "output" and also AUX input on the remote control... but of course, when u plug in the headphone, do not forget to mute the speaker... (it does not mute itself automatically) other suggestion is M3400. it has more stylish remote control.... about M3300.., i have that speaker. it's the best u can get for that price range i must say... and the clarity of this speaker is superb.... however, just remember that the bass is tight., means if you're a basshead you should think again before getting this speaker... that's what i can comment.... |

QUOTE(andrewL @ Jan 26 2008, 12:50 AM) it should be possible for M3300 because it has the wallmount screw point behind its sats....i'm not sure about M3400 though.... just that., for M3300 you may need the special screws.. hmmm it's alright for u to post here...
Edifier got alot of speaker that priced below RM300, but we do not know what types of speaker u prefer. also, some people do prefer design more than quality , or vice-versa. for more information, please Click Here. speakers that i recommend around RM300 are C2, M3300, R1900T3. for design, then choose E series... |

QUOTE(fesick @ Feb 1 2008, 03:46 PM) mainly for music&movie only..i dont really into design..more to quality.. so any u can recommend me nismo91? and thanks for the link above QUOTE(GAMEOVER @ Feb 1 2008, 03:46 PM) I'm looking for 2.1 speaker for: . PC & PS2 gaming . Movies / ASTRO watching . MP3 listening I'm quite attracted with the C2 & C3 because of the external amp. Quite stylish in my opinion. But since my budget is around RM200-RM300, C3 is out of my reach. Is it worth to buy C2 for all my needs? Or is there other models, or even other brand better? (in range of my budget) since its a stereo 2.0speaker instead of usual 2.1. ( i've experienced it ) but unfortunately its not available near me and it costs about well, but my 2.1 speakers selection went to M3300... the price is good and i profusely like the design and the sound clarity produced. sweet speaker... but keep in mind there's a major drawback of this speaker, which is the overall bass produced by subwoofer is tight. it's not as good as other series or other speakers' brand. but since im using it for personal purpose, then i tweak some software in computer to make it sound better. IMO, M3300 tight bass also come to an advantage when it play R&B and Hip-hop songs... i have another set of speaker which has similar specs to it, but have "loosen" bass. of course, this speaker outperforms M3300 in almost every songs, but when it comes to R&B and Hip-hop, this speaker would not sound good as it is "not designed to play these kind of music". Techno-trance lover should not get this speaker in my personal opinion... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |
