is it cheaper to get edifier speakers straight from Inter-Asia at Lowyat Plaza compared to other shops? any advantage buy from them?

The SRP in Edifier showroom is higher compare to dealer.

im using e3100..waiting for some caps to arrive..then ill mod it...then im gonna add the 8dip socket and change the opamp..
stock is using ne5532 which is a quite ok opamp but cheap laaa hehehe rm1.50 only in JP.

gonna try to improve this baby..then after that only think to change speaker...

I just bought my first set of Edifier speakers. S530D

Looks good, sounds amazing, the wired and the wireless remote are a bonus.
The bass is sufficient not too boomy like Altecs, imho, just nice.
The mids and the highs are much better than my Aego 2. S530 is a lot clearer.

Was just wondering, how much is the S730 ?

just finished my mod to e3100....im no audiophile just a super noobie!

for now just change the big caps to panasonic FC.same value,same voltage..........4700uf 25v
the effect?? suddenly everything sound cleaner.............seriously there is a big diff....feel like soundstage increase...
...right now sounded abit harsh..expected already...I cant wait till it burn in properly

next step will socket the opamp and try a diff opamp..

just got myself opa2134 and op275

Wow, a single cap changing returns with noticeable sound improvement, if you try better one like Elna, I guess it's more to come! Let it burn in for a while first, might tame down the harsh abit, or try change it to 6800uf one, heard that bigger cap = greater amount of bass = warmer?

Your E3100 is warranty expired?

this speaker i guess have enuff bass laaa ..i dun want boom2 kind of style..
I like this speaker in the 1st place its because the smooth bass and good treble.........

cant wait to change the opamp...but i must be patient
