EDIFIER FANS CLUB V3? sweet.....

Hi All,

Yesterday, I went to IT SHOW (Singapore) to try the Altec Lansing VS4121 and MX5021 (recommended by friends) but then I saw this Edifier booth and I decided to take a look.

There's one speaker that really impressed me, the S530?? I compared it with MX5021 and I feel like S530?? is better????? I couldn't believe that this unknown brand can actually produce excelent sound. I asked my gf to go with me this morning.

Both of us like it soooooo much but then we feel that the price is too steep. We try other model S330 and C3. I hate the extra piece (the amp?) of C3 but my gf loves the sound so I ended up purchased the C3.

This bloody C3 is so damn heavy.

I told my friend about it and their responses was like Why??? Why Edifier???
I couldn't be wrong, I went to the IT Show twice and I've tried the speakers many times!

It's 02.00 am now so I will try the C3 on my Acer 5920 tomorrow and I hope that I won't be dissapointed with this purchase.

Good choice. Edifier is a good brand and you get more from what you pay compared to other famous brands. Do take note that S530D rules over the MX5021. As for C3 it is unfair to compare with the 5021...it would be fairer to compare it with VS4121.

Remeber to improve your soundcard to get the best out of it.

first thing first, edifier is not any unknown brand. it's a quite reputable brand in MM speakers, on par with altec lansing.

your friends are purely altec lansing fanboys. this is completely normal. there are tonnes of people like this out there. to them, AL is the best, even without even listening and comparing to others.

is the subwoofer of S530D better than MX5021?

S530D subwoofer bass more powerful, more accurate

Added on March 8, 2008, 10:44 amhell... edifier since when become unknown brand?! go to see the award they get in this few years first. anyway award isn't important though, go test their speaker sound will prove this is not unknown brand. instead, it is tai kor tai in pc speaker market now, like 7 years ago's ALtec Lansing.

Altec Lansing have the good time b4, but it is history of 6~7 years b4 already. now their speaker quality not there already, except one model still can produce acceptable sound, MX5021. they got nth left, besides the brand name

Edifier produce good price/performance product, should be a main player in MM speaker market today.

Edifier is the best sales speaker in China leh,and almost ranking number 1 in all china website....and now all my fren will start switch to edifier when they wan purchase new speaker,coz i keep promote it becoz it is really good

What is the strong point of the C3?

I was considering M3300 for quite some time but if I pay slightly more for the C3, is it worth it?

i am the owner of this 2 model. well i can tell u, C3's satelite and subwoofer both also better than M3300, over all one step upper than M3300. what u pay what u get

the most important is u go and test yourself 1st b4 buy

guys, i planned to buy a new speaker soon.

50% music, 40%movies and 10% gaming.

budget around rm300. need helpppppppppp any suggestion?

Ya, for me, Altec Lansing only left MX5021 still doing the serious sound, thats why I go for it...

Well....as far as I know, it's popular in China, Malaysia. Most people are into Logitech or Altec Lansing.

I tried the C3 on my ACER 5920, it's nice, I'll definitely recommend this speaker to my friend.

Ah I see..

In terms of Clarity and sound stage which M3300 is quite known for, how is the C3?
Besides that, what about S2.1M which is also the same price as C3?

i am classical music listener too. clarity and sound stage of C3 definitely above M3300. S2.1M... i can only base on the listening experience at lowyat edifier showroom to make comparison with C3. i picked C3 because i like the seperation component design, more punch frm the subwoofer and crispy sound frm the satelite; over all it sounds more pleasant to me when i comparing it with S2.1M side by side in the showroom. but a lot of senior audiophile here claims that S2.1M hav better sound stage and clarity than C3, so i suggest u really hav to go try yourself bcoz may be my taste is different

If you ask me, the C3 definately looks much better than the S2.1M from the out look.
But I am not sure about each of their performance...

But technically, what is the advantage of having a separated Amp from the subwoofer? Besides saving space.

hi... i'm plannin to buy speakers for my laptop... ( coz my laptop built in speakers suck... ) so can any1 recommend me some speakers??? ( budget below RM200 ) i dun think i need speakers with subwoofers coz it's just mainly to watch animes and hear mp3s...

edifier really a good brand among all...
been using 2 model of edifier.e3100 and m3400.
now thinking to change to c3 or s2.1m...
this is quite a tough job to choose between these 2 as their price is about same but one is high end and another is new.
so..any comparison between these 2?
