Technically its not too bad. Just read up on Ohm's law and especially the part on Resonance RLC.
Basic electric/electronics is quite ok with just one formula that you play around with. v=ir

bro it's not about passing the exam or not..it's about interest...if u dun pass the exam u still can transmit rite?...well there's a lot of people who doesn't have amature but still transmit everyday...FYI before i passed the exam i already had 3 handy...once i passed only then i got a rig..ic 2200...so bro if u want to buy just go ahead...no harm..just my 2 cent..

VHF & HF antenna form high sierra side kick (motorize HF antenna from 160m (1.8Mhz) to 6m (50Mhz). longest station i made contact with someone at Guangdong china during mobile (with supervision of 9M licence holder). i'm also active communicate via 40m on the commercial band (also with someone with 9M licence holder). this only way how i'm practise to communicate via HF and it's not simple as on VHF.



My mobile rig, Icom IC-706 (dual band VHF & HF), only front panel. main set underneeth driver seat.
