which motorola model? those talkabout units? those scanning are like shit la ... chanel spacing are just not for spacing, it will only scan the pre-set channel only ...

gp328? no scaning ... gp338? no scaning also ...

whats important for a ham radio set is its scanning capability and direct channel input ... vfo.

Exact price I cant recall. I bought with 2 more rigs but roughly its 1.3k for the set + 400 for the accessories like antenna, charger, mic and cable.. all original.

Scanning freq generally all ham radio can scan. For VHF the rx can be as low as 134 and high as 174. For sets like Vx7 or equalvalent its 0.5 to 999mhz. Full range scanning from HF (FM) till UHF.

ya lor..very small cable only, RG174..that means con only stand for 5W using handy...
but i wondering, the antenna mounting (toesu) oso used the same cable, RG174 (1 meter) + RG58 (5 meter)..can TX until 25W..hmm, maybe that RG174 only 1 meter length... hmm.gif

will try to TX up to 10W only n see...have to find the "UHF male (PL259)" 1st, to connect the BNC to mobile rig connector...

Alamak too tired forgot to post pics last night. Nevermind will do it tonight.
Who offered me SGD500 ? whistling.gif

Motorola GP328 are good commercial units. These units have extremely good bandpass filters.

hahah anyway back to topic. For ease of simplex, a good antenna like a home made J-pole for RM50 would do wonders with a cheap china mali VHF handset. 5w is all you ever need with a base antenna to another base antenna. Good pirates would be good ham operators in the end.
