Drop me a pm if you need a lift. I can bring you to the clubhouse or direct to some 9M if possible. Anyhow, do you by any chance have two way radio communications for dummies? haha

That is the reason it should not become a habit. I am having a hard time reading all these abbreviated codes too hahaahha.

Comes out making a guy sounds cute? Don't think it is a good idea.

I got an sms from a cute girl once " 2 9 I m x going out although it is gr8 to c u again" << I replied IDKWYATA GN

Eddy, from experience would you consider getting a mobile rig first instead of handy if you were given to choose again? For almost the same price, I find my handy more than a paper weight.

Anyhow XD <- this means laughing very hard. the eyes close, mouth open big..

there some possible options for my first rig, be it handy or mobile. but i wouldnt mind receiving some old pointers from you guys as i dont wanna end up with triple-digit worth of paper weight biggrin.gif and im not sure if im to get a hvf/uhf mobile set or save some more and get an all-mode set as well. any recommendation? for sets and why its a good purchase, of course biggrin.gif

You cant escape buying a handy and a mobile.

Handy you will get bored very quickly. A mobile with a power supply and tons of antenna to choose from.

Building up a base unit at home with a good ear antenna would be more exciting. My take.

Added on May 25, 2010, 1:41 amyea, thats what thought xD but which one is first? wink.gif a mobile perhaps, eh? wink.gif its better if it can be portable as well with its own internal power source like FT-817, FT-897 and/or IC 703. Any other models which one can hook up with power supply without jeopardizing its portability (and practicality)? i mean, on foot trekking and camping biggrin.gif
