Had a peek yesterday, it has 40m band open for Class B .. but I guess many Class A holders will hold a protest infront of MCMC office after this with placards

It will be surely a good move .. proposed by progressive hams in Malaysia for the development of ham radio here. This is I heard in-lieu of not removing the CW requirement to get an upgrade but probably will be done with additional certification.. so, probably you'll get to operate this if you hold an additional certificate saying that you're competent to work on 40m band .. and this certification will be by the elmers and not certifying body (MCMC). Will see how this goes .. but I'm all for it for sure..

QUOTE(joncy @ May 12 2010, 10:21 AM) well c how it is implement. from now on need to visit elmer n learn more on operating on HF. then easy can get recomendation from them... Easiest way is to join any field day organised by any groups .. some of the elmers are too busy with their personal activities but they're more than willing to share their experiences during the field day. BTW, this 40m band is still in draft and we've no idea when they're going to be implemented .. but, why not prepare for A class license when you're onto it already |

a lot of china brands have managed to reach the US shore but to the extend they are known as 'disposable' due to their price. quality wise it's okay for normal usage but expect no fancy fancy stuff wif em like, dropping ah, water hazards have to be more careful lor but if just use for normal qso or monitoring it's ok wan

Hey guys i just passed my RAE-1-2010 and how can i apply for the class b AA? What is the fee?
Statutory Declaration? How can i get that? Last but not least, I was informed that MCMC does not accept CASH or CREDIT CARD. They ONLY ACCEPT CHEQUE, POSTAL ORDER & MONEY ORDER. So how i'm going to pay them? All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |
