for 80mm, cfm should be around 60-80ish? sound should float around 30dB
as for 120mm, i remember they range from 40+(CM silent fans) up to 200+(delta tongue.gif )cfm. as for the dB, they range from 30-50+ tongue.gif

i think this is as far as i can remember, have to check on it further

Thanks!

I got myself silverstone fm121 for the 120mm replacing my coolermaster 40'ish cfm default fan.

Also got another silverstone fm81 to replace my 80mm coolermaster 22'ish cfm default fan.

Now need to replace one more 8cm fan but dono what to look for.

Another silvestone I think its gonna blow a hole in my pocket already.

Any suggestions?

@Prodigenous Zee
I've tried it .. seriously underacted..

noise like hell but put it 16DBA on spec ...

TT DBA measurement are taken by placing the object 1meter away ...

While other manufacturer tested it within 30cm of distance ...

I thought so too after reading this review, dirty marketing tactic. Thanks for answer icon_rolleyes.gif

So I guess in my search for the best quiet but powerful 120mm fan, Silverstone FM123 would be the best choice. Right?

Hi, need some fan recommendations.

Currently using CM LED 120mm fan as intake, CM normal 120mm fan for side panel and a 80mm windstorm as exhaust.

Any suggestions on what to replace the side fan and exhaust fan?
Side fan too slow...don't think it makes a huge difference
Windstorm, great fan but gf complaining de...too noisy

Don't think if the side fan being too slow to make a diference. I'm sure it's making a difference compared to no fan. You will have to pay a higher price for silent high air flow fans. Really the best option is to get a multi fan controller. control the speed according to use. ( =
