QUOTE(RageWeaver @ Apr 22 2008, 11:45 PM) I prefer performance all the way..dont give a damn about noise la...guys i heard there is a delta 120mm fan that is 5400RPM and a very high CFM(not sure how much)...i need a couples of this...anyone have more info abt it? Well...anyone have ne idea abt this?And i wana ask abt the connectors that come with fans...some fan i see come with the "molex" thingy and some come with a simple 3 pin..I really prefer the simple 3 pin as the molex is too big...not good for cable managment..So i wana ask what difrence between molex and 3 pin?and will this powerful deltas use 3 pin or some other connector? |

Asking a question, recently i just bought some bling bling 12cm acryan's black fire fan from Uglyvamp, after replace it with my 12cm SS case fan.... wow... IS VERY VERY NOISY compare to my previous SS case fan.
So my question is, any way to reduce to noise? Tq guys |

It means reduced the voltage supply to the fan ..
usually case fan volt vary from 5v, 7v, and 12v ... so depend how u mod it which would effect its round per minute (RPM).. |

i think lowering the voltage have no effect since the noise is comes from the RPM..
correct me if i'm wrong.. |

after lowering the voltage, the fan speed will reduce, there goes the noise will reduce too

@duckevo
There's really limited supply of TT fan .. you could try to go to Robyncom at Imbi plaza .. Not sure they still carry TT fan or not .. Basically I've had bad experience with TT smart case fan. Fragile RPM sensor header and LED longevity.. |

guys, which fans are quieter and pushes more air?
-smaller blades but many of them (example 11 blades) or -bigger but fewer blades (the standard 5 0r 6 blades) Also, it is my understanding that bigger fans are able to run at lower speeds but pushes a higher volume of air and creates less noise as apposed to their smaller counter parts. Is this correct? If this is true, i currently have 2x120mm fans that are installed at slots that are also able to support 140mm fans. Should i make the upgrade? |

hmm 14cm fans does enhanced the airflow by certain margin ..
but it's hard to get quality 14 cm fan ... and the price isn't cheap as well ... |

Currently using stock CoolerMaster fans, I think the cfm abit low. |
