pain in the ass finding 10cm fan laugh.gif

this is one of the reason to find coolers with common size of fan (8cm, 9cm & 12cm) rclxm9.gif

ur cooler warranty expired already? time to change to a new cooler then

Cooler Master 90cfm @ 19dB 12CM fan,

I am afraid this is too good to be true !!!

I bought 2 units from one of the trader here @RM33 each.

I have tested it from my system and I think it is the same fan (same model) as my Cooler Master Hyper 212 CPU cooler.

The spec of my cooler fan is 2000rpm, 69.69cfm, 19dB.

This fan has a strong wind and quiet too but I don't think it is reaching above 80++cfm. I am comparing this fan with my Delta fan which having 82.67cfm.

The conclusion is quite clear here, Cooler Master has overrated this fan !!!

p/s if you want kickass fan, you still need go for those noisy industries' fan like Delta, NMB and etc ...

Yes, it is good and quiet, but just that it is overrated for 90cfm.

If the fan rated as 90cfm @ 19dB - it is big deal. It is like ideal or perfect fan or dream fan for everyone but ... I think it is yet to be invented.

I seriously doubted the 90cfm @ 19dB in the beginning because if it's for real, this fan is even better than the expensive Scythe fans. Anyway, it has been cleared now by the review and it isn't 90cfm in fact smile.gif

i using tht CM 90cfm fan, the airflow smaller thn my panaflos rated 90cfm fan but its more cfm thn evercool 2000rpm fan, so basically we can assume tht its more airflow then 7 bladed 2000rpm fan yet its silencer even though its not like rated 19db... so for rm33 + the decent airflow, might be silencer thn vizo uv fan, its quite a good buy... although its overrated...

just had a thought.... perhaps the 19dba only refers to the motor noise and not inclusive of the wind noise?

Just curious, how do you know that? Have you tested it before?
Or have you read any review about it? If so, pls share the link here.
