QUOTE(Clem1982 @ Nov 7 2012, 09:15 AM) best is to get the PWM models but these fans are kinda hard to find in retail shop nowadays so you'd need to order from LYN PWM is the one with voltage control support for motherboard right? but i dont think i got use fan control, all my fan are running on full speed currently

QUOTE(amduser @ Nov 8 2012, 12:14 AM) PWM is the one with voltage control support for motherboard right? but i dont think i got use fan control, all my fan are running on full speed currently PWM is controlled by PWM signal pulse, not by voltage, although PWM fan still can be controlled by voltage, if you plug it into 3 pins fan header. The CPU fan header with four pins will provide PWM signal to control the PWM fan. Depends on your motherboard, The recent ASUS mobos can control all the fans via software, either voltage and PWM. Gigabyte can do the same but its very limited iirc.

QUOTE(ntw @ Nov 14 2012, 10:34 PM) How about the CM xtraflo? I had one that came with the Hyper 212+ it's ok to use, slightly to the noisy side IMO but it produces a clicking sound once mounted horizontally
