my room dont have air-conditioner. i just have table fans. and my pc running 24/7...

planning to mod my side panel and put 200m fans..but have problem since my heat sink just near the side panel...maybe i can lower it a bit...

and i only have 1 intake, 1 exhaust and 2 fans push/pull at CPU..
seems need to add more fan if want to get the temp like you...

my casing CM Elite 430
*
The PC room have an a/c but I rarely use it, that temperature reading is taken when the a/c is off

an elite 430's airflow should be fairly good IMHO.. don't think you can achieve the same temps as mine because your PC is is of different spec and operating on different conditions and locations... adding a blowhole with a fan to the side panel will help as you said opening the side panel lowered the temps

another way is to improve the airflow... how is your cable management inside the 430?

Cleaning my 2 casing fans (Aerocool Sharks) is such an a$$ as they have soo many fan blades and the blades aren't removable. Plus, it's a little noisy even though I've just cleaned them up.

Thinking to go for Enermax Magma hmm.gif Anyone personally using this? biggrin.gif

Yep they're a pain to clean nod.gif but they do look good, IMHO with the adaptor its not really that loud IMHO... how many do you have inside your chassis?

I mean the 430 has slots to install fans on the top right? why not just install it first and see if it improves the temp before modding? and I wanna ask if your 212 Evo is mounted vertically or Horizontally? hmm.gif

which one is better? install exhaust fans or install intake? i just feel inside casing should be cooler.
my evo is mounted vertically, doing push pull to top of the casing (the air flow)

You could go both ways actually, trial and error is the only way to see which config works for you, for me, I usually find that exhaust gives me cooler temps by 1C to 3C but dust collection is accelerated tongue.gif

I'm confused... vertical mount but push pull to top of chassis?
like so?

Need to ask about PWM and how to use it. I'm only able to get PWM function (front PWM fan) only if I connect it directly to the motherboard fan port? Because I remember last time my Arctic F12 PWM has an extra connector which I don't know where to connect it to as I only have one fan connector for the front fan.

Another thing is that how do I alter the fan speed...? (Not planning to get a fan controller)

p/s: Planning to get a Enermax TB Silence PWM for the removable fan blade design

Or should I get the Noctua P14 FLX since I hear Noctua make very good fans....but I'll have to do without the removable fan design but it's alright if it's really quiet yet give sufficient airflow <------I hate noise a lot especially when I sleep with my PC turned on and my current fan makes very noticeable noise which is quite irritating

PWM function will need the feedback from the mobo with a 4-pin connector so depending on the mobo you're using there will be either one or 2 of the 4-pin PWM connectors on the mobo.. in the case of AC F12, the PWM is controlled via the other connector with the single wire.. not too sure why but maybe has something to do with the PST feature.. other PWM fans only has 4-pin connectors

you could do that with speed fan, which can be downloaded off the web but I don't know how accurate it is compared to a fan controller so good luck

the TB silence looks good and the removable fan is heaven-sent IMHO Noctuas are good as per user feedbacks but I don't like the color tongue.gif

if noise is your main concern, maybe getting a chassis with noise dampening feature is what you need wink.gif

best is to get the PWM models wink.gif but these fans are kinda hard to find in retail shop nowadays so you'd need to order from LYN tongue.gif
