want to ask, if i stack 2 fan together as intake or exhaust fan, will it double the CFM or increase static pressure or make everything worst?

i am not sure with the static pressure but i am pretty sure it will be loud. btw if just for intake and exhaust why need so much static pressure unless it is for cooler then i understand
*
coz i put a filter at intake, so the air flow are slightly restricted

i think i will get better temperature if i put high static pressure fan for the rear fan, then change the direction from exhaust to intake blowing to the processor since my processor using stock cooler

if got filter the it will be even louder.. rather than putting more fans why not change to an aftermarket cooler.
*
for me is the opposite, after i put the filter it somehow dampened the noise from the fan

and good aftermarket cooler more expensive than adding more fans

As you dont oc, its wise for you to use some better fan which would provide more air flow instead changing cooler. Btw what casing you are using ? Perhaps u need a better casing like High Air Flow series  laugh.gif ?

using corsair 400R now

I just tried stacking 2 of my xigmatek 12mm fan, the result is weird, the air blow out from the edge of the fan instead of focus on the middle

hahaha.. ofcoz laa.. u need to use rubber dampening thingy to minimize the air spill
*
What rubber dampening you mean? The air duct?

I think he means the rubber dampener normally used for vibration dampening. So you get a clean seal between the fans.
*
The air coming out not between the two fan, is the air is focus at the edge of the fin instead of blowing in a straight direction

best is to get the PWM models wink.gif but these fans are kinda hard to find in retail shop nowadays so you'd need to order from LYN tongue.gif

PWM is the one with voltage control support for motherboard right? but i dont think i got use fan control, all my fan are running on full speed currently hmm.gif

PWM is controlled by PWM signal pulse, not by voltage, although PWM fan still can be controlled by voltage, if you plug it into 3 pins fan header.
The CPU fan header with four pins will provide PWM signal to control the PWM fan.

Depends on your motherboard, The recent ASUS mobos can control all the fans via software, either voltage and PWM. Gigabyte can do the same but its very limited iirc.

oh....icic, how much does the F12 and F14 cost usually?

you can get the F12 for about RM25 to RM30 depending on where you're getting it from... as for F14, I haven't actually seen any on sale locally
*
ic....one more question, if i get the one with the grill one, is the grill removable? coz i see a lot of that selling in ViewNet but there is no demo unit to see
