Getting Started

|
Hi guys I'm planning to buy CM Storm Stryker case but I saw review the fan performance not that good. http://www.kitguru.net/components/cases/si...chassis-review/So sifus here can recommend me some good fans for the case? I'm thinking of replacing all fans and having blue LED is a plus. Was planning to buy Enermax TB Silent so let me know if anyone has experience with the fans.

Anyone of you knows what is the best 92mm fan to be my 2nd Cooler Master TX-3 ? It must be super silent during operating (High speed if noisy is acceptable) and it must be high and reasonable CFM Please state brand and exact model ! Thanks in advance.

I think mobo manufacture also have their own software to control fan. Well hard to find such fan, i think the best is 1)CM 9cm Blademaster (PWM) 2)Aerocool Evergreen 9cm(3pin) 3)CM 9cm ST1 (3pin) This post has been edited by Hilmax: Jul 15 2012, 02:01 PM

QUOTE(BenSow @ Jul 20 2012, 12:04 AM) is there any way to power case fans with wall sockets? not directly.. no...ur talking 240W there from the wall so there has to be a limiter or some sort... just short the 24-pin to fake-start the a PSU with the fan attached would be safe enough

I did some googling apparently some of them used phone chargers then wired the case fans to it

I did some googling apparently some of them used phone chargers then wired the case fans to it option 1 use old PSU, connect the motherboard ATX pin, green pin to black(ground) PSU will run like on PC option 2 go find yourself 12V DC adaptor and wire all the fans together
