you could try women's pantyhose if you want something cheap+DIY

obviously any filter will affect the airflow but if it's for the bottom case, I wouldn't worry much. at least its better than no airflow at all (no fans)

Hi, i just upgrade my cm hyper 212+ plus fans recently to dual Arctic Cooling F12 PWM fans for push pull config, and extra 2 fans for my case, im also apply new arctic cooling mx-4 at the same time, but not much improvement for my rig temp. B4 my cm hyper 212+ single blademaster is around 90c while oc, but after add those fans the temp still same around 90c, is there anything wrong? My case is front 2x120mm intake, bottom 1x120mm intake, top 1x170mm exhaust, rear 1x120mm rear exhaust, total 5 case fans.

Use splitter or fan controller.

This splinter/adapter is extremely hard to find, i walked alot of outlet at lowyat, cant find 1, them said have to self modify maybe.

Go to the cable section below and ask the seller whether the Y splitter cable got stock or not.

or you can ask this seller to custom made one for you. might be a bit expensive though.custom cables

oh almost forgot see here also. They got several shops around klang valley. go to garage sales and find a dude by the name of ngbh.

btw is there any difference between Y cable 3pin to 2 pin & 3 pin and Y cable 3 pin to 3pin? If you see NZXT Y cable, all got 3 pins but the one above got two 3 pins and one 2 pin.

Many people don't understand what PWM is all about PWM means it only spins fast when the temp is high. That's the reason standard F12's are better because it's always running at full speed (it's also silent) so you don't have to wait for the whole thing to heat up before running at full speed.

isnt pwm fans were made for bios temp control on mobo's??

yeah I know what you mean. when I bought CM turbinemaster 1.8 there's not a single review except for the mach 0.8 version. Since it's PWM fan maybe you can just buy it. or you could get CM excalibur instead.

any feedback about the cm excalibur? it seems like a premium fan from cm.

You can stack as long as you want.

No worries . Using it right now . Push Pull in my hyper 212+ . The fan usually run at 1.8k rpm until my temp reach 60C thn it will start accelerate . Unless you put full speed , or else the noise is acceptable . Btw , its hav strong air flow and I like the blade design

hmn.. i really like the high air flow and the price is rm29 only from garage sales, better choice compare to blade master, but sad its only available in red led.
