QUOTE(FiragaZ @ May 15 2011, 11:58 PM) hi, any comment about this fan? http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=6684, i cant find much review about this cooler master xtraflo fan, might wanna replace this fan for my cooler, the air flow is extremely high, of course the noise will high a bit, but my blade master 120 full speed noise is still acceptable for me. No worries . Using it right now . Push Pull in my hyper 212+ . The fan usually run at 1.8k rpm until my temp reach 60C thn it will start accelerate . Unless you put full speed , or else the noise is acceptable . Btw , its hav strong air flow and I like the blade design

QUOTE(FiragaZ @ May 17 2011, 02:36 PM) Added on May 17, 2011, 2:39 pmhmn.. i really like the high air flow and the price is rm29 only from garage sales, better choice compare to blade master, but sad its only available in red led. Yeah either cut off the leds or stick to the red led . I chg my whole case led from blue to red due to tis xtraflo . Yet no regret =P This post has been edited by Jayi: May 17 2011, 06:25 PM

QUOTE(FiragaZ @ May 17 2011, 07:19 PM) How many xtraflo fans in ur case? the noise still acceptable? Only 2 xtraflo . Yes for sure . Actually I believe it is just same with blade master in term of noise unless at full speed .

QUOTE(lingloong @ May 22 2011, 07:59 PM) Well, still waiting distributor to finalize my costing b4 I can reveal the selling price
But the price will be quite competitive compare to other fan like Xigmatek or Aerocool I believe most of us still be stunned with the leds . If the price is affordable , must be selling like hot cake .

QUOTE(ukimaro @ May 29 2011, 11:38 AM) hi guys currently i have 5 CM R4 RED/Sickleflow in my case.
But 4 of them are controlled by fan controller (2 at bottom as intake and 2 at top as exhaust)
Which means the other one is connected to the motherboard which i feel it is noisy !!
Just want to replace the noisy one which is connected to the motherboard.
Any silent fan to recommend which is :-
1. RED LED FAN
2. NON LED FAN
Pls Help me ! thanx
I'm using sickleflow as well and connected to motherboard as well . Doesnt think it noisy . Yet as your request : Non led fan : ARCTIC F 120mm Fan since you dont wan sickleflow . Its silent yet good air flow Red led fan : XIGMATEK XLF 120mm Fan (F1253) . It has very nice blade design and its blade is in red colour

QUOTE(ukimaro @ May 29 2011, 07:00 PM) thanx for ur feedback bro, its just that i was using 4 sickleflow with my fan controller and adjusted at 1200rpm which is silent, but after i put one fan connected to my mobo its noisy, maybe im not used to it . btu arctic f12 > xigmatek f1253 rite ? In bios should hav fan control option . Try seek for it . Btw , both hav their own pros and cons . Just take a look at their manufacture website .

QUOTE(ukimaro @ May 29 2011, 09:25 PM) yo bro i went into bios and put to silent profile for chassis fan but it seems the same :hmm : how many sickleflow fans are u using in ur case ? 2 sickleflow as front intake . Exhaust are top , rear and side all using stock cm fan since cpu cooler using two Xtaflow so the air flow is good enough .

QUOTE(nsfeng @ May 31 2011, 10:32 PM) Guys! I bought a new computer which is use Elite 310 casing. It can install fans front and back side plus 2 of it beside, but the problem is what is the recommend air flow to install each side? I know back of the case definetly exhaust, but how abot front and beside? Thanks!!! You wan fit all 4 fan into such case ? A 120mm fan with good air flow , for example the cheap sickleflow also cost Rm20 and Rm20x4 also nearly equal to your case price . This post has been edited by Jayi: May 31 2011, 11:01 PM

QUOTE(trencher10 @ Sep 24 2011, 09:47 PM) Guys, I'm looking for a 3 x 5.25 drive bay fan bracket for a 120mm fan like the Scythe Kama Bay PLUS. There's a seller in Garage Sales, but he's not been in the forums since March! If I were to look around Lowyat, would there be any other cheaper alternatives (or even the bracket itself [fan own supply])? Or could someone point me to the right direction? Afaik own DIY is the cheapest Only need few ringgit for zip ties

QUOTE(trencher10 @ Sep 24 2011, 10:11 PM) Well dat true. Except I don't have any acrylic sheets or metal plates lying around. Though more importantly a drill! (I know, I know, getting a drill for the house is a good investment) Nonono. you just need some skills and zip ties and that's is enough There should hav hole at 5.25 drive bay in ur casing isnt ?

QUOTE(amduser @ Oct 31 2011, 12:18 AM) but i'm dont OC my rig, most of the time i just need air to feed the GPU, CPU is around 60c full load As you dont oc, its wise for you to use some better fan which would provide more air flow instead changing cooler. Btw what casing you are using ? Perhaps u need a better casing like High Air Flow series ?

QUOTE(amduser @ Oct 31 2011, 02:52 PM) Hmm since you got a nice casing there, adding fans at side panel should be sufficient enough to suck fresh air to gpu

QUOTE(FiragaZ @ Feb 27 2012, 12:37 PM) How long it last? I am about to try 1 for my home server and see how its perform, see how worse it is, many people complain about noise and life duration. I have 2 sickleflow and 2 xtraflow which all almost 1 year old. All leds on fan still kicking. Average daily 12 hours running
