i got rumors that we wont have XP.
still, let's wait for it.
anyhow, i am hoping Sony to release a successor for Z Ultra, as that's my only target to replace my aging but beloved Z Ultra.

i think uk and germany also not getting xp. well, maybe it's true that this XP was never meant to be a flagship. by releasing only x and xa, sony is targeting mid range market only and maybe at IFA will release a true flagship model.

I just hope that my aging Z1 could last until the next suitable replacement... September looks like a long wait. Anyway, I still hope that we can get the XP.

Dual sim is very convenient as I using it. The reason I use android instead of apple ios. I need dual sim for personal and work purpose too..

Agree. If the price is good and really the only difference is additional 1GB RAM. I would go for the XP. Least I am holding a metal back, different from what I've been holding for close to 3 years now.

what worries me most abt Sony is their strategy or lack of it. the 6mth cycle is a mess. Z5 only release 3mths ago. If Sony position X series as the new flagship range, it's back to 6mth cycle. more so, X Performance as top range and ppl who buy Z5 and Z5 Premium will b pissed.

i'm a big fan of Sony Omnibalance design (not so much of their skin) but the thought of holding something now and 6mths later its superseded scares me... and i m talking abt over 2k phone.

someone among the OEM must have realise that Apple has the best strategy. the S model after a major release. My HTC One M7 rocking a snapdragon 615 still work fine. my other phone rock a snapdragon 801 and i don't feel at all its 1.5years old flagship.

These confusing strategy from Sony is reason why after my TX, ive not own a Sony phone even i like Omnibalance.

Sony Xperia X and XA UK pre-orders kick off

With Sony's 6 month release cycle, means the price of phone will drop very fast.
I am happy to buy older generation phone at bargain price lol.
With my phone usage pattern I don't need the most recent model anyway.
Currently using Z3C and I don't feel lag or slowness at all.

i second this. my z3c is still blazingly fast & snappy. and now since sony also include z3 series for marshmallow update, i think i'll stick with this phone for another year

Samsung S7 Edge is already out and there's still no news on Xperia Performance even heading to over shores. I wonder if should just jump ship to Samsung. Sony's execution just sucks. Until today they still can provide any further info about launch dates.

they did mentioned the x series will be release sometime in june

camera samples are out. while the dynamic range and lowlight seems okay, time for Sony to fix their oil painting effect. used their A6000 and no longer wanna use phone cam to take pictures.

My Z3c stilol blazing fast compared to my already starting sluggish 6 +

sold off my z5 already haha, the camera a let down to me (my own preference) !!!! Will the X series really see the improvement ???

Satisfied with z3+ camera performance and sd650 Xperia x is in my top list

interested in the X Performance here. Curious on their price tho.
