Perhaps the mobile division will lose a lot of money if Xperia X Performance is truly the flagship.

if i m not mistaken, their only cash cow for now is Playstation, the rest are making loss including Columbia pictures

nope. they are making profit in recent news. remember Spectre and Adele? both boosted Sony's profit. but i think Sony Pictures might lose money again, as Daniel Craig quit acting James Bond.

just that, the most struggling is mobile division. still making loss but posted some tiny boost.

i cannot accept a pseudo flagship phone with 5" Full HD screen

This has been discussed in XDA Forum yesterday i believe. To note, it contradicted with Sony in Hungary statement in their fB. Nevertheless Xperia X grows quite 'interesting' publicity.

ok, so the selling point is the new hybrid autofocus camera

Adding OIS will cause the camera module to "pop out" from the device. Sony has been trying to cramp in a compact camera sensor into it. I rather prefer the camera to be on the same plane with back panel. It reduces high chance of scratching the lens.

Adding more RAM will increase the power consumption, but the performance increment is hardly noticeable.
By balancing these 2 points, not adding RAM is a good choice.

yes...from a technical standpoint..from a marketing view...this is an disadvantages..whn u c Samsung and LG flagship got 4gb ram..
