Rtings Review of H9F Score 8.3 of 10.0 . Very good result for budget TV.

Let's see if is like TCL, launches different products in US vs the rest of the world.

They have a lot of competition in US , between Hisense , TCL and Vizio .


All these great budget TV seemingly share the same flaw , the very poor screen uniformity which is also a sign of poor QC.

I like this review, as he put pictures/videos side by side, you can see and compare yourself.

The reviews have been bashed by many , the guy is currently apologizing and trying to redo another video.




As I have previously mentioned multiple times , youtube TV reviews videos absolutely cannot be taken seriously into direct comparison.


For eg : you are comparing 2 TV , one with WCG and one without .

How do you showcase the difference of wider range of colors, on a Camera with limited dynamic range ?
Anything that is too bright for camera will appear to be blown out and muddy on video , but in real presentation it will look entirely different.
Even if we consider the possibility that , this guy has somehow by miracles , managed to squeeze all of these quality into a highly compression youtube video , most of you are not watching the video with a $147000 BT.2020 monitor , how can you tell the difference ?


Any credible TV reviewers ( not like there's many on youtube ) should always start the vid by warning its audience , what they've seen in the vid should not be used as a direct comparison. Instead they should be listening to the interpretation of the reviewer.

Fact that his silly review are confusing people into thinking H9F is on par / better than A9G , one of the best OLED TV , is nothing short of hilarious .

Rtings still has all the numbers , each are measured meticulously with professional tools.
This guy has done nothing of sort and literally has no idea what an accurate picture should look like to begin with.

From what I read, it seems Hisense is also like TCL, not going to have US products launch here. So whoever waiting for the H9F product to come to Malaysia, can stretch the neck longer and longer. Similarly the Hisense U9E which is said to be launch in China, will likely not get to go to USA and other countries.

I am bit confused with Hisense models.
For instance the 55B7700UW sells in Malaysia and Thailand looks similar in appearance but different in specification allthough same model number.
In thai they say this tV has picture engine so called Hi-View, but here for Malaysia no info on this.

So at best in Malaysia, you will get probably get the 55" u7b or 65" u8b, which none of these are android TV.


Phillips pulled out of selling 2019 OLED and Hisense suffered big losses due to the high end OLED's in Australia. OLED will be the lonely market for limited players only.

Hisense marketing strategy is really confusing. Every country seems to be different. u7b with VIDAA OS is supposed to be the replacement for u7a, but the model that we get here is B7700 with AndroidTV. probably Malaysian prefer the flexibility of Android?

Okays thanks for the info. Seems they are selling the non-android TV u7a together with ATV b7700. The B7700 is said to be newer than u7a, but seems have same spec with u7a ? I don't see anyone selling B7700 in lazada yet.

Actually got.. it is tagged as B7700UW in lazada 😄
I believe u7a will be phased out soon. Both models are categorized as 'premium' model. I dont know if hisense malaysia is going to introduce u7b since they already selling b7700 (specs are similar for both model except the OS). B7700 might be the replacement to u7a - b7700 supports dolby vision, newer processor but only 60hz panel.

Who knows.. maybe hisense direction is to introduce tv with android only and bring in 8 series to fill in the gap between 7 and 9 series.

The u7a or the b7700 specs are not great, I don't see them talking about the brightness ( nits ) and also local dimming zones only 16. Far too few to be useful.

That the best rm4k tv now. No Dolby Vision tv at this price.

Panasonic 55 GX740 & GX800 below 4k too.

But are these tvs bright enough to show hdr contents?

But they are not 65. They are certified to show hdr content. So should be no problem.

TVs with low brightness (nits) will have poor HDR performance. Dolby Vision is a type of HDR. So the HDR/Dolby Vision in U7a are just superficial only.

U7a was released one year ago. After one year, Hisense repackage the same box under android, and sell it here as a new box, while in other countries, it sells u7b and other newer flagship model such as H9F.

Not just Hisense is doing that. I think other TV sellers also doing the same.
