Kuala Lumpur: Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB), anak syarikat milik penuh Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) hari ini mengumumkan agihan pendapatan sebanyak 6.30 sen seunit bagi Amanah Saham Malaysia (ASM) bagi tahun kewangan berakhir 31 Mac 2016.

Pengiraan pengagihan pendapatan ASM adalah berdasarkan kepada purata bagi pegangan minimum bulanan bagi tempoh pelaburan sepanjang tahun kewangan tabung ASM.

Bagi membolehkan para pemegang unit menikmati pulangan daripada pertumbuhan unit-unit amanah tabung ASM, pembayaran pengagihan pendapatan akan dilabur semula dalam bentuk unit secara automatik dan dikreditkan ke dalam buku pelaburan pemegang unit pada 1 April 2016, tertakluk kepada unit ASM yang masih ada. Sekiranya unit ASM telah mencapai had maksimum tabung, pengagihan pendapatan akan dibayar melalui cek.

Semua urusniaga bagi ASM di Ibu Pejabat ASNB, pejabat-pejabat ASNB dan ejen-ejen ASNB akan ditangguhkan bermula 23 Mac 2016 hingga 31 Mac 2016 bagi tujuan pengiraan pengagihan pendapatan. Para pemegang unit boleh mengemaskini buku pelaburan ASM di pejabat-pejabat ASNB atau ejen-ejen ASNB di seluruh negara mulai 1 April 2016.

Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) melalui anak syarikatnya, Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB) mengumumkan agihan pendapatan bagi Amanah Saham Malaysia (ASM) sebanyak 6.30 sen seunit bagi tahun kewangan berakhir 31 Mac 2016.

Pengagihan pendapatan berkenaan membabitkan peruntukan sebanyak RM1.03 bilion yang akan dimanfaatkan oleh 536,862 pemegang unit yang melanggan 16.298 bilion unit ASM.

Pengerusi PNB, Tun Ahmad Sarji Abdul Hamid berkata, sehingga 11 Mac 2016, ASM memperoleh pendapatan kasar sebanyak RM1.26 bilion dan keuntungan daripada penjualan saham dalam syarikat-syarikat menyumbang sebanyak RM659.96 juta atau 52.23 peratus kepada jumlah berkenaan.

"Pendapatan dividen daripada pelaburan dalam syarikat-syarikat menyumbang sebanyak RM423.66 juta atau 33.53 peratus dan selebihnya RM180.01 juta atau 14.24 peratus diperoleh melalui pendapatan daripada pelaburan instrumen-instrumen jangka pendek," katanya pada sidang media majlis pengumuman pengagihan pendapatan ASM di sini, sebentar tadi.

if I'm not mistaken, the units in circulation & the approved fund size have around 2bil units "gap".
so the next year dividend we might get by cheque. not tis year one

Why no suspended first?

I guess the ball is in SC's court now. PNB/ASNB will pay out the dividends, the only question is in what form. Either reinvestment of dividends in units or via cheque that's all.

If you wanna complain, it should be lodged at SC I guess

before we worried about the divided. Now we worried if payment in units or cheque the statement also kinda confusing

Oh my gosh, sure its the first time I seen such 'dangerous' term on 'tertakluk kepada unit ASM yang masih ada..

my wild guess is those having 500k above would be paid in cheque, while those lower in units

6.30% will b the new benchmark for ASD, ASW n AS1M later

tomorrow go all out to grab ASM as tis would be last chance to get in units before divvy be paid in cheque

How do they justify which account to pay by cheque or which to credit the dividend into the passbook in future?

Normally there will be news saying suspended. And we are eagerly waiting for the dividend. Now straight jump to dividend payout and give us this news....

Damn... Just reach my target and wish to see it grow and accumulates..... And this news strike in.

I doubt there'll be any preferential treatment, it's too resource consuming. It's either everyone gets reinvest or everyone gets paid by cheque.

One thing's for sure, given BNM's stance on cheques, I'd go and update my bank account details in ASNB's system because if this trend set by SC continues, dividend payments would be made via bank transfer!
