QUOTE(kkk8787 @ Jan 31 2016, 08:56 PM) Lets say you have a bumi friend who wants to invest but she said she has no money. U yourself is non bumi. She said u use her name and u keep the passbook but dividen share half half is that workable Its too risky.. I ever thought about it but i think not worthwhile.. when you are evaluating your net worth, how you want to convince yourself that the capital that u invested through her name would be guaranteed yours.. and also, you need to pray for her well-being every day..

QUOTE(kkk8787 @ Feb 1 2016, 09:51 AM) She said u keep the passbook lo I ever thought of that too.. She might report that her passbook is lost then she will receive the new passbook.. Haha... too many loopholes in using other people's name for ASB dividend..

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Feb 7 2016, 09:29 AM) That was last year. Let us see whether it will bounce back this year or not. Or is it the curse of the name 1x? Yape.. i think it is the rosot nilai that u guys are talking about.. but it is really a shock for the low retaining dividend reported for AS1M.. Anyway, i m focusing on ASM & Asw2020 first..

Looks like SC is starting to flex its muscles on PNB.... Oh my gosh, sure its the first time I seen such 'dangerous' term on 'tertakluk kepada unit ASM yang masih ada..

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Mar 15 2016, 12:49 PM) before we worried about the divided. Now we worried if payment in units or cheque the statement also kinda confusing Really true.. I am also confused on how the dividend would be paid this time.. How do they justify which account to pay by cheque or which to credit the dividend into the passbook in future?

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Mar 30 2016, 01:57 PM) Kind of true. Look at dividend day. People withdraw in masses. People are living "in the moment". Don't have the need to live "in the future" Yes.. For me, i really hoped not to withdraw my ASX, but seems like i am in a big struggle at this time as many sudden expenses are in due now..

Just now i viewed the Supplement to Master Prospectus, it mentioned a lot of things saying about exemption till 31 December 2018 for AS1M and some of it affecting the other fixed price funds as well.. First Supplement to Master ProspectusI prefer to be more cautious in monitoring the fixed price unit trust status when that time comes..

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Apr 19 2016, 12:45 PM) Is not confirm. Just rumours. Don't be surprised if they didn't announce any new fund during msam 2016. However, prepare you cash in advance. Monday go Henham if really new fund. Yes, i believed that there would not be any fixed priced unit trust during this nearer time.. Merely speculations i believed..

QUOTE(Vincent9696 @ Apr 20 2016, 11:30 PM) Perhaps they increase fund size only this time... What he said may right also , without PNB( of course there are others like epf , tabung haji , etc) , KLSE index will not be keep increase steadily. I was thinking if ASB is open for every one, I believe the KLSE should have been higher.. Lol.. Because many damn rich chinese are still waiting for the chance.. Just my sense...

QUOTE(Vincent9696 @ Apr 22 2016, 08:00 AM) The fund manager also should invest smartly , choose the right one , otherwise ASNB could make losses as well. Currently ASB dividend also not so attractive anymore , the rate keep decline. Many of my bumi friends stop investing , they go for mutual fund. Yape, with the dividend getting less attractive from time to time, bumi investors are wondering what is the point of getting the ASB loans as the risk is getting higher when the difference of the rate between the loan and the dividends are getting closer..
