I want to ask this :
let say I invest 1k in asw, after few years, maybe cumulative dividend around 300, so total 1.3k. If I take out that 300, does it mean I'm taking out 300 from the 1k ie: unit balance available is 700 only?

nope. it's total amount that counted. ie. 1,300

so u withdraw 300, so balance is 1k leh

so the unit I still own, is still 1k ya ... apply to asb also?

yup. apply to all ASNB funds.

the dividend is credited into your account yearly.

so they would combine with your initial investment plus dividend.

I was considering to take out some portion from my asw account, but since asw finished already, reluctant to do so..

Maximise your asb and asb2 first up to RM200k and don't withdraw. That way, the limit will keep increasing every year (the amount of dividend received + whatever amount you have inside = your new limit). Once reach the RM200k, then only buy asw2020.

If I were you, I will move all asw into asb and keep only rm100 in asw2020 (so no need to fill up form again to open. By keeping rm100 inside, account is not close)
