man, his casing looks like mine..

one advise: change your rear 120mm fan to those high power out like TT 120mm Smart Fan < with speed controller. its default fan is too weak to suck the hot air from your casing.

Oii bro, u're using stock heatsink fro you're Pentium D 820, and the idle temps is 60degrees, that's cool liao...

My brother's pc is using the same processor with an XP120 heatsink, and you know what's the temperature?

It's 50degrees in idle...

XP120 is considered a mid end 3rd party heatsink, if change to other high end heatsink, the temps could go much lower i think... smile.gif

THanks shawty.

But sad have to invest money

reduce temp = new heatsink = money
can write program d

if(money <=300)
System.out.println("Ok OK heatsink");
else
System.out.println("Better heatsink");

Even bad airflow wouldnt cause the proc to idle at 50C. I think your temp sensor gone bad as you said it doesnt feel hot.

if it doent feel hotmeans the contact between the 2 surfaces r bad.
it has nothing to do with the temp. sensor

haha.. creative fella.. if u want to get a good heatsink with reasonable price, get it from here. lowyat forum. there is many bulk around, selling nice heatsink.. if want to get a good heatsink, 200 is good enough. no need 300 la.. if 300, consider go for WC already.
