Oh my, a plunge across the board. Had intended to remain dormant for the next few months but looks like may need to consider some additional investments.
I feel like the black crow hoping for KLCI to go 1500. |

QUOTE(anakMY @ May 6 2021, 11:44 AM) my timing is guided by my CA. And the data to be used for CA is guided by my knowledge in macroeconomy and world affairs.I won't say it is 100% accurate but if don't have high accuracy I won't spend time to running data analysis every month. It's very time consuming even with the help of AI technology. CA accuracy is time proven with the back test of more than 100 years. CA showing me turning point in US market in late May. I didn't expect to be so early but I normally exit from my position one month earlier. if my CA showing me early May, I would have exit early April already. but I just share what I do for myself. Nobody talking on how glove company convert the billions extra they earned during pandemic to future growth? e.g. build more plants or explore to new business opportunity.
For me, glove stock still worth investing when the price is right. |

QUOTE(ken_zen @ May 6 2021, 12:36 PM) Nobody talking on how glove company convert the billions extra they earned during pandemic to future growth? e.g. build more plants or explore to new business opportunity. This was a noted issue, it's not that nobody wants to talk about it (plus some preferred not to talk about it)For me, glove stock still worth investing when the price is right. It was rather a no win scenario. All of the glove makers have already embarked/'have allocated funds' for a massive capex already.. and when you add in the newbies (leaving aside the issue of 'how long these newbies can last')... and then not forgetting countries like Thailand and China... everything had already pointing to a enlarge supply base in the future ... which most likely lead to a scenario we saw post SARS ... overcapacity + trade wars = declining ASP = declining profits excess money should have been rewarded to the shareholders as dividends. No to share buybacks |
