Bought more Homeriz @ 0.615. Seems like a good company to accumulate since it's cheap now.

Would it be smart to copy whatever that EPF is investing? http://www.kwsp.gov.my/portal/en/about-epf...1-disember-2018My logic is they have lots of experts who made the decision which shares to invest in, so copying them would surely be wise.

Hi everyone. I have a question for which answer I can't seem to find online.
If a Malaysian listed company is privatised, do I have the choice of not taking up the privatisation offer and just conitnue holding the shares of the private company?

If a Malaysian listed company is privatised, do I have the choice of not taking up the privatisation offer and just conitnue holding the shares of the private company? Major shareholder decides. When they take it private, usually the major shareholder will already have more than 75% of total shareholdings. They then propose to buy the remainder at a determined price. Small shareholders of the stock will have their shares bought over by the major shareholder and compensated. This amount will be credited to their respective bank accounts like a dividend. However the case can be more complex than it is. An example of a public company that went private is OLDTOWN. You can look at the comments at https://klse.i3investor.com/m/stock/overview/5201.jsp

You can look at the comments at https://klse.i3investor.com/m/stock/overview/5201.jspThanks for the link. I got my answer already QUOTE WiseTrade Basically, there will be a few scenarios likely to happen. First, if you accept the offer then just signed the accetance letter and send it back for 3.18. Second, if you ignore the offer and held on to the oldtown shares, then there are two scenarios likely going to happen. If Jacob managed to get 90% of oldtown then you will be forced to sell your oldtown share to them at 3.18 as well. If Jacob did not managed to get 90% (75%-80%). Then Jacob can either revised their offer higher than 3.18 hoping the remaining shareholders will sell them or they can absorb enough stock from open market by either pressing the price and slowly absorb or purchasing the remaining % at higher price than 3.18 and push up the prices.

However, these are only as at the reporting date.

Hi every sifus here
I'm planning on trading Asian stocks. But first I need to do my research, so I'm looking for some info to help me narrow down on where I need to look because..... Asia is dam big. lol
Which Asian country's stocks is volatile enough so I can do short term trades? Is there a stock database for me to look for a specific company's info? Which broker should I consider?
If you can let me know this, then I can start researching.
Thank you!!

One transaction alone can incur high fees that will eat up whatever profit you earned in that short duration of time. Maybe you can start with Malaysian stocks first. Penny stocks are extremely volatile with many people speculating hoping to 'goreng' it to earn a profit.

Imagine how screwed you'd be once you start buying stocks for real.
