that is a most interesting piece of data for jan 29.
i think they r correct... at least the gross nos. tally with this:
https://www.pickastock.info/MarketParticipationwhat is striking is this:
.. jan 29, some shortie shorted 2.5mil TG shares for rm16.7mil - avg price 6.63.
.. from that data u posted, some FF bought rm340mil or estimated 51 mil shares.
.. jan 29, total TG vol was 162mil shares, gained 53sen for the day.
.. from above, shortie vol was 4.9% while FF buying vol 31% of total.
.. jan 29, shortie did NOT short any harta.
.. jan 29, FF bought rm61.3 or 36% of the day's vol, gain >60sen.
today's events probably much the same as jan 29, i wud think.
it's looking to me like that the shortie(s) have been cornered - by some other FF; while local funds and retailers (so much for bursabets/telegram hot air) dumped TG, harta too.
and who is this shortie(s)... did some digging... we know one of them borrowed from EPF and is a foreign IB.
there are only 3 foreign IBs (JPM, CS, UBS) approved for SBL shorting, 8 more are local.
today, harta was still being shorted but no the other 3.
later tonight, will check the net short position to see if the shortie did any buy back on jan 29 - i doubt it as they were still shorting.
a great story is developing!
maybe a diff FF has a better "evil" plan!!

Tbh, although I did not take part in this cult trading, I am happy as long as you guys can earn it from the foreigners, not killing retailers LOL. Just pass the tickets to them and bring money back into our country.
If they are shorting, F them hard lol.
Also, beware of KYY, especially for supermax and topglov. He definitely has a lot to dispose.
