Btw, PANAMY just announced that they are not producing solar panels in MY anymore due to strong pricing competition from China.
https://asia.nikkei.com/Business/Electronic...ells-and-panels

Not sure how will this affect the solar counters fundamentally and sentiment wise. Just sharing info for solar counter shareholders

Yup, I've been doing like Ray Dalio n Boa as well.

Exited S&P500, reduce bond at lot, reduce China tech.. Increase cyclical.

But different view on energy.
*
Me too, I am betting on cyclical, waiting for that growth to value rotation until hair white already

LMAO. All these IBs macam lalang keep changing opinion.  doh.gif

Either cannot forecast properly, or purposely hide the correct data in their research for god know what purpose. You tikam. brows.gif
*
But if you look at IBs TP for gloves this year compared to last year, it is downtrending already, they will continue revise the TP lower next quarter.

For Supermax,
Kenanga: from 12 to 9.05 (4/12/2020 vs 11/01/2021 TP)
CIMB: from 13.2 to 11.8 (4/11/2020 vs 30/01/2021 TP)

The news is about Panasonic Japan, not Panamy, if not mistaken. Correct me if I am wrong.
As far as I know, Panamy never has the solar division manufacturing plant.

Panamy is a sub-division of Panasonic parent company, that primary in producing electrical appliances, like air-cond, fans, rice cooker etc.

While other parent company Panasonic's other businesses like battery for EV, semi-cond, etc are not related to Panamy.

Hah.. One week already white hair... 🤣

So next week if rotation doesn't happen, u cut loss n exit?
*
Hahaha, no. Below my FA entry already, there's no need to cut loss, especially when my entry is super conservative already as I am a cheapskate

One week white hair. Dont stress.

Ask those stuck in penthouse for advice for managing stress, you need this skill too.

I had once been trapped for months, at that point, I really just treated my red portfolio as numbers

(ii) the Warrants Consideration, which was originally proposed to be RM0.26 per Warrant via the First Announcement, has been revised such that the Warrants Consideration shall now be determined based on the five (5)-day VWAP of the Warrants immediately preceding the price-fixing date for the Warrants Consideration but shall in no event be lower than RM0.26 per Warrant.

BIMB-WA. Thoughts?

No RSS on the big 4. PBB seems to be the fav now, nearly 2.8M , MBB 455,200. So analysts are giving higher TP so they can sell....
*
They will revise gloves' TP down further next quarter, you wont be wanting to buy next quarter at current price...

Anyone got this? When I shared it was .265, which caps your risks at only 2%

BTW, it might be worth it to buy the dip if any tomorrow,
- your downside is capped at .26 (shall in no event be lower than RM0.26 per Warrant)
- with unlimited upside (based on the five (5)-day VWAP of the Warrants immediately preceding the price-fixing date)

Saw it on Facebook, not sure how credible is this source

Did Malaysian retailers just outplay foreign fund? LOL
Retailers = Net seller for Topglov, foreign fund = net buyers. Nice one.

Pass the tickets to them lol, bring more foreign money back into Malaysia

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Feb 2 2021, 10:26 PM)
that is a most interesting piece of data for jan 29.

i think they r correct... at least the gross nos. tally with this:
https://www.pickastock.info/MarketParticipation

what is striking is this:

.. jan 29, some shortie shorted 2.5mil TG shares for rm16.7mil - avg price 6.63.
.. from that data u posted, some FF bought rm340mil or estimated 51 mil shares.
.. jan 29, total TG vol was 162mil shares, gained 53sen for the day.
.. from above, shortie vol was 4.9% while FF buying vol 31% of total.

.. jan 29, shortie did NOT short any harta.
.. jan 29, FF bought rm61.3 or 36% of the day's vol, gain >60sen.

today's events probably much the same as jan 29, i wud think.

it's looking to me like that the shortie(s) have been cornered - by some other FF; while local funds and retailers (so much for bursabets/telegram hot air) dumped TG, harta too.

and who is this shortie(s)... did some digging... we know one of them borrowed from EPF and is a foreign IB.

there are only 3 foreign IBs (JPM, CS, UBS) approved for SBL shorting, 8 more are local.

today, harta was still being shorted but no the other 3.

later tonight, will check the net short position to see if the shortie did any buy back on jan 29 - i doubt it as they were still shorting.

a great story is developing! biggrin.gif
maybe a diff FF has a better "evil" plan!! laugh.gif
*
Tbh, although I did not take part in this cult trading, I am happy as long as you guys can earn it from the foreigners, not killing retailers LOL. Just pass the tickets to them and bring money back into our country.

If they are shorting, F them hard lol.

Also, beware of KYY, especially for supermax and topglov. He definitely has a lot to dispose.
