What is the universal convertion tool of sotware that can convert every format?eg from rm,rmvb,avi,wmv,watever to rm,rmvb,wmv,avi,watever...

i try xilisoft..but it's not perfect....some of the rmvb file it can't figure out the correct running time...others pls...

rmvb file is nasty coz it has variable framerate(VFR), iirc not much app can handle it, unless u know how to use avisynth, to convert the framerate to constant one then transcode it with other video encoder.

u usally convert rmvb to wat format? i usually use allok rm converter to convert my rmvb into vob,bup,ifo

is it possible to convert *.bin files to avi?

does ur file come with other file such as *.cue as well?

hai guys ... noob here ... i have a problem here ... i'm recording using JVC hardisk handycam and i reallize the size of the movie that i have recorded too large ... for 1 hour recording the size is about 4G ... so it's kindda hard to upload to my workplace server ... so i'm try to use SUPER free encoder Webpage and don't really know about the setting there .. what is the basic things that i should know about encoding which my aim is to reduce the movie size from 4G to sumthing smaller like divx movies ...

hi.... im using TMPGenc to convert avi to vcd.... so theres option for ntsc and pal... so which one should i choose..... i want to play the movie on the tv dvd player..... and if u have a suggestion or tutorial on how to burn avi to cd that it can be played on tv dvd player, also please tell me

Use VirtualDubMod or MKV2AVI

Thanks will try that. BTW any idea how long it takes to convert a 4.5GB .mkv file into .avi?

How do those ppl add so many movies into 1 dvd, and also so many chapters from a series into a dvd which only runs max 120mins?
