hi.... im using TMPGenc to convert avi to vcd.... so theres option for ntsc and pal... so which one should i choose..... i want to play the movie on the tv dvd player..... and if u have a suggestion or tutorial on how to burn avi to cd that it can be played on tv dvd player, also please tell me

i want to burn video(mkv) into dvd so that can be played in any dvd player. i have to convert it to avi first right? so any recommended software for mkv to avi?
