QUOTE(mois @ Nov 9 2020, 02:52 PM) C9 is at my kampung workplace. This CX is at my town home for weekends use lol. Nowadays just use it for 4K movies + netflix. So i need rtx3080 pc + xbox series X haha. Most probably PC/C9 & xbox/CX combo because i spend more times at workplace. But seeing the news VRR is not supported, it is rather dissappointing. Hopefully there is a way to lock 4K/60fps. haha salute u bro |

QUOTE(SSJBen @ Nov 9 2020, 03:27 PM) ^Get your facts straight. So u know better than LG spokesman? Ok great, maybe u can become LG SMEVRR works, stop quoting articles that don't know jack shit about what they're talking about as they don't even have a C9/CX. VRR is however FLAWED, this has been known since more than half a year ago - when they enabled Gsync compatible for the C9 and when the CX launched. |

QUOTE(kskoay @ Dec 11 2020, 08:55 AM) I’m using the same yeelight with my c9 as well, I put it as default “movie mode” in yeelight app, I just tune down the brightness yeah i think the movie mode color is diff from the yeelight bulb i using lol. this one macam the purple is abit bright purple.. cannot get deep purple.. if abit to the red side then will become magenta lol. |

Found out something weird lately. I connect my xbox series x to my c9 tv and tv to x1600h, then sound i set earc and passthrough option. If i play game that has dolby atmos it will automatically show atmos and there is minimal delay. However if my c9 sound setting from passthrough change to auto, then the receiver still show dolby atmos but got .5secs delay. Xbox audio setting is bitstream mode and dolby atmos home theater.
If i play game without dolby atmos support and at tv sound hdmi arc setting is passthrough, the receiver actually receiving PCM. If set to auto, it will show dolby atmos, but will have .5 sec delay. |

QUOTE(kevinlim001 @ Dec 30 2020, 02:54 PM) abit confused.. didnt try the last one. I presume the last one wont not have any delay, but i gonna lose 4k/120hz. Games like destiny 2 and gears 5 and ori and wisp can run 4k/120hz. Can feel abit diff especially when panning around. Just abit weird why if put auto will delay .5 secs or more. I dont know what is the best option but if gaming better less lag so 1st one seems to be the best? Seems like no much ppl cover on this.Xbox -> hdmi -> c9 (passthru) -> hdmi (earc) -> x1600h .. minimal delay Xbox -> hdmi -> c9 (auto) -> hdmi (earc) -> x1600h .. .5 sec delay what if xbox -> hdmi -> x1600h -> hdmi (earc) <--> c9 .. do you observe delay? |

QUOTE(cyclone2 @ Apr 24 2021, 10:46 AM) my house tv just kena strike by thunder. I'm looking at CX or BX series. Bx is good enough but then ppl will recommend cx. But then, i think u better invest in surge protector. Lightning very frequent at klang valley if u are living in there.I know CX is higher end model and BX is entry level. Anyone using BX series? What is the comment? |

QUOTE(SSJBen @ Jun 3 2021, 05:31 PM) I have mentioned before, every time after a new firmware update, the user should; Agreed on the last one. There will be flaw, and also hdmi cec thingy also never gonna be perfect. Sometimes just have to accept it, else use proper hdmi 2.1 receiver.1) Turn off the TV. 2) Turn off the main switch the TV is connected to, remove the power plug too. 3) Wait 15-30 minutes for the TV's PSU to discharge any left over current. 4) Reconnect your TV, turn it on in sequence of source > external audio (if available) > TV. Also as for your Shield, after several updates you should once in a while do system reboot on it as well - just like what you'd do with your phone. Lastly, eARC and ARC doesn't always work 100% of the time. You should accept this flaw by now. |

QUOTE(cyrobytes @ Jun 4 2021, 09:56 PM) 1) My media player is using cec less adapter as this does work well on the ARC connection. I see, sounds complicated lol. For me is the benefit of earc outweight to direct connect my receive which only hdmi2.0. But i do turn off most cec function. Like auto switch on those, those really can give conflicting signal like when i am on shield tv, my console turn on, both will fight for switching over lol. At the end i just turn off my shield tv one.2) My 4K UHD player itself has 2 separate hdmi outputs, vidao and audio on each hdmi. Video output direct to CX, sound output to Samsung N950 soundbar. The player itself can turn off the cec. 3) Doesn't have game console now, queuing to get one since the next gen console launching |

QUOTE(greyshadow @ Jun 29 2021, 12:26 PM) anyone gotten their paws on the 48" C1 already? Lg oled differentiate by the model class so C1 wise everything is same as C1 officially. Its is nice for desktop or near view setup.seems the price of RM5k is a pretty good entry price for an above average OLED TV any features not available compared to the bigger size siblings? |
