Guys, what would be the more appropriate ambient lighting color for gaming/ watching movie? I just bought a yeelight and i use the app movie mode, is abit whiteish blue tho.

Am using lg c9.

ok bro, thanks for the info. and btw, i searched back u posted ur setup on the yeelight, damn the partition wall behind ur tv is the same like mine but my tv is small 55inch only.

yeah i think the movie mode color is diff from the yeelight bulb i using lol. this one macam the purple is abit bright purple.. cannot get deep purple.. if abit to the red side then will become magenta lol.

Found out something weird lately. I connect my xbox series x to my c9 tv and tv to x1600h, then sound i set earc and passthrough option. If i play game that has dolby atmos it will automatically show atmos and there is minimal delay. However if my c9 sound setting from passthrough change to auto, then the receiver still show dolby atmos but got .5secs delay. Xbox audio setting is bitstream mode and dolby atmos home theater.

If i play game without dolby atmos support and at tv sound hdmi arc setting is passthrough, the receiver actually receiving PCM. If set to auto, it will show dolby atmos, but will have .5 sec delay.

didnt try the last one. I presume the last one wont not have any delay, but i gonna lose 4k/120hz. Games like destiny 2 and gears 5 and ori and wisp can run 4k/120hz. Can feel abit diff especially when panning around. Just abit weird why if put auto will delay .5 secs or more. I dont know what is the best option but if gaming better less lag so 1st one seems to be the best? Seems like no much ppl cover on this.

i normally leave it on standby mode, unless i going out from home for few days. the standby mode power usage isnt alot anyway.

Bx is good enough but then ppl will recommend cx. But then, i think u better invest in surge protector. Lightning very frequent at klang valley if u are living in there.

If fry power supply maybe still can repair.. but if fry mainboard susah le.. wow.. tat is alot thing kena.. tats y now expensive equipment better use surge protector. Sometimes no need lightning, if supply surge also will kena. U normally use ur tv for wat?

Agreed on the last one. There will be flaw, and also hdmi cec thingy also never gonna be perfect. Sometimes just have to accept it, else use proper hdmi 2.1 receiver.

So u direct hook up ur stb all to receiver? Or u only use tv speaker? Cos 2020 receiver also having hdmi 2.1 problem.. game like ori and wisp 4k 120hz cannot play like me x1600h only..

I see, sounds complicated lol. For me is the benefit of earc outweight to direct connect my receive which only hdmi2.0. But i do turn off most cec function. Like auto switch on those, those really can give conflicting signal like when i am on shield tv, my console turn on, both will fight for switching over lol. At the end i just turn off my shield tv one.

Lg oled differentiate by the model class so C1 wise everything is same as C1 officially. Its is nice for desktop or near view setup.
