When it comes to the 48-50" TV's in the premium class in Msia, memang only got these two. Sony ain't bringing their Master 48in over.

If C1 is unavailable (maybe MY units too low like PS5), this is 2nd best alternative.

Thanks for the suggestion. I can’t seem to find the 50” QN90A listed anywhere.

What’s the best course of action if I wanted to get a C1 48? Go to one of the distributors (Harvey, Senheng) and ask directly if I can place a booking or something?

There's no 50" QN90A in MY though . The smallest size is 55 " .

Yup. I personally contacted Samsung MY support and it took them a day to confirm that 55" & above QA90N in MY are using VA panel, so you need to get the 55" if you want the VA panel.

They even gave me a free hefty discount voucher for me to purchase the TV, but I'm waiting for Sony A80J to arrive and see how it goes

There are plenty of 50" on shopee. It starts from RM8K

No , it isn't .


Samsung MY support knows nothing about TV . In fact , they don't even understand the difference between VA and IPS until I have contacted their Korean representative .


All of the QN90A models , from 55 " to 75 " are all using ADS / IPS .



And if they told you it is VA , they would be wrong because the models released in the market now are clearly using IPS .

Their catalog specification would also be wrong if that is the case .

I am just straight up saying , you are wrong , the information you obtained is wrong and Samsung Support MY is also wrong [if that is what indeed what they told you].


I have examined the 65 " of QN90A in the KLCC a week ago , it certainly has very " shallow " black compare to last year's Q95T .

So , are you saying they have uploaded the wrong catalog ?


They have never gotten any 50 " of QN90A approved here , so selling it would be illegal .





As for those 3rd party units , I have no idea where those are coming from .
And they cost roughly the same as 55QN90A , either they made a mistake or those are import units .
Good luck having fun trying to claim warranty from imported TVs.

Funny story , I just msg gamer's hideout on shopee regarding the 50 " , it stated " 7 units " left .

The owner told me all Units have sold out instantly [ yea right because a lot of ppl want to buy 50" LCD at RM8000 when the 48" OLED is priced at RM6000 ] .
Afterthat they went on to change the page to " SOLD OUT " and blocked my chat , now that is totally not fishy .

Beware that you would be stuck with the Shopee coins and would have to spend extra money and make 20+ orders to utilize them. One of method I found is by buying Aeon vouchers, good luck spending 2.5k there
