I've been using my Redmi 3s (32GB) for a few weeks now, but just realized that there may be something wrong with the audio recording quality. Not sure if its hardware or software related. I did a little googling and managed to find some info about the noise cancellation not working properly or something, but I'm not really sure if that's what's causing my issue. When I record audio, the first couple of seconds will be really soft, but it picks up after a while. Anyone else having the similar problems with audio recording?

Hi, I'm planning to buy Redmi 3S ( 32GB ) through lazada.

While browsing through the product catalog, I saw this seller Gtronics Communication sell Xiaomi Redmi 3S 32GB+3GB RAM with 'local manufacturer warranty ' for RM 639. Does anybody knows whether the seller is reliable or not ? Some of reviews of other smartphones sold by that seller that I read seems has been screwed up with same products sold by other merchant though...

Or should I bought direct from official (sold and fulfilled by Lazada) instead ? But the RRP 699 lor and confirmed original from Xiaomi . BTW, do Malaysia have clone Xiaomi smartphone ? I see only clone Xiaomi powerbanks and clone Xiaomi earphones so far...

I had that issue too until I changed sim card. Now the speed 4G so geng on this phone.

you use sim card slot 1 or slot 2? mine using slot 1.. the bigger slot

I used slot 1, micro sim size. slot 2 I put microSD card.

I've noticed if I turn on battery saver my Gmail won't give push notification, even if I put no restrictions with background location allow. Any way to overcome that ?

But the problem is Gmail is not listed under Autostart list so I can't allowed it to autostart

Just follow what you can perform... If any of the steps is not available, it's OK... See the results...

I have seen comparison of Redmi 3, 3S and 3X. Redmi 3X should be compatible with 3s accessory.

Oic, i thought got difference cause the edges are different. Maybe i will try to get 3s case to see if it fits on my 3x

Edges slightly difference though. Redmi 3S is curve while Redmi 3X is flat and chamfered edges. Thickness is still the same.

It seems all the step I followed while omitting the unavailable is not working too...it's ok though I just scheduled the saving power between my sleeping time... good thing that option exists.
