Hi guys, i just bought a Grey Redmi 3S 32GB from Lazada last week when the price was RM599. I think i got a great deal for the phone, and after using it for about a week, i'm very satisfied. The only thing that's been bugging me is this sticker on the back.

My question is, is this thing important? Can I just peel it off and finally enjoy that smooth sexy metal back? It's quite hard to peel off, so i'm afraid if it will leave some sticky marks. Any advice?

And btw, i haven't updated to MIUI 8 yet. Been hearing about some bugs and whatnot, but is it really that bad? Do the pros outweigh the cons? I'm tempted to update it, but I don't want to break anything that works. And so far, everything seems to be working fine. But those new features like multi screen/ dual apps and others sound very enticing...hmm..

Thanks.

Before peeling it off, just double check the details are the same as per on the box and in the phone.

MIUI 8 Global Stable ROM is OK in terms of battery performance, call / net reliability and good enough for average Joe usage. Since you are happy with MIUI 7, my advise is to leave it as it is. Unless, you know how to flash properly, it is worth to try MIUI 8 and can always return back to MIUI 7 anytime you wish.

p/s : That glittering on the fingerprint sensor is dope...LOL...

Thanks man. Looks like a lot of effort from the video, so I may just leave it alone for now lol. Or at least until I can find that solution he's using. I think it's some kind of alcohol spray, I've seen it in some phone repair shops. As for the details, I managed to find the model number in the box, but I couldn't find the FCC ID. Not sure if that matters?

Haha, that glitter was a magnificent fluke thanks to my camera flash. But the fingerprint sensor does look really good because of that thin metallic bezel around it. Gives it a real premium feel. I love it. biggrin.gif

I've been using my Redmi 3s (32GB) for a few weeks now, but just realized that there may be something wrong with the audio recording quality. Not sure if its hardware or software related. I did a little googling and managed to find some info about the noise cancellation not working properly or something, but I'm not really sure if that's what's causing my issue. When I record audio, the first couple of seconds will be really soft, but it picks up after a while. Anyone else having the similar problems with audio recording?
