Masuk fastboot. Unlocked bootloader? If unlocked, can flash stable rom guna mi flash.

Had a problematic software. The stock Mi Recovery was somehow corrupted. And its stuck in a booting issue. Eg. If I select recovery. It wont go into recovery. It will reboot into the system again and again. Even had issue where I m unable to do a factory reset.

Flashing ROM via Updater didnt work as well.

Followed few methods avail on the YOutube. Majority didnt work coz halfway its different.

Finally I followed one method which adopted Cofface TWRP. IT was easy. BUt I faced some issue midway too. Had to workaround it. It didnt go into Root.

And I did something which I should did all along. Once I was in TWRP.. I FORMATTED the blardy system. And finally the TWRP was rebootable.

Loaded Lineage ROM and never looked back. Although I do miss MIUI dual app function... I think I might migrate back to MIUI one day.

Phone is alive and well now. Should have tinker a bit before I bought the replacement phone. After all.. Most of the time, its software issue.

ny redmi 3 still behave normal. only battery performance decreased a bit. my main issue is internal storage always got warning reach threshold 90%. app today got bigger and bigger. 10GB not enough. always need to move big file to my external storage 32GB

Yup I got the ads too. Actually, I read somewhere their CEO said those ads are necessary so they could sell the phone cheaper than other competitors.

could be your Whatsapp taking lot's of space

especially if you are in groups that spam pic & video everyday

even if you delete from whatsapp, the media remains in your Gallery
you will have to manually delete from Gallery to permanently delete from phone

Using MIUI 10 but not happy with. Charging takes toooooo long but battery drained ridiculously fast.

Anybody here still using Redmi 3s (Prime)? Or you already move on with another phone?
