What risk is that?
Steal your credit card number, email privacy.... hmm.gif

It's my usual disclaimer whenever I suggest others pay money to others. Four separate individuals using four different profiles must agree to pay without fail each month and not change the login details or use Netflix's service in such a way that would get the account banned.. Card risks, nonexistent IMO.. Can just use debit card.

Oh..okay then...

I think i can afford rm 50 per month

Just terminate my astro

just in my mind, i can get cheaper gift card compare pay monthly...

Yep, I've had mine for years now.. Prefer it under my full control. Besides, I need the profiles (Me, HM, Fam & Kids only content) to separate our viewing preferences. If under a fully occupied shared account, I believe only one profile per person. I don't like my recommendations list being muddled up with HM's drama or kid shows.. smile.gif

You can login on multiple devices but in fairness to others paying, do not operate on more than one device at a time. Else, you'd be preventing someone else from enjoying the service. not cool.

Yep. Netflix is definitely a far better sell than iFlix. But that SD res....SD on a tablet is still okay. On larger screens? Not so much. My HM mostly watches Netflix. Don't think she's aware iFlix is right there for consumption too.. laugh.gif

Hi, I'm also facing this issue where Netflix is really slow sometime in the evening around 9pm onwards usually on weekdays.

Currently on Unifi 30mbps line. Speedtest shows full speed. Restart router and it's the same.

Check with my other account users, those on unifi facing same issue but one account on Maxis no such issue.

Is TM throttling Netflix at certain hours/days?

Still monitoring this.

Hi guys,

Anyone having buffering issue with Netflix starting today 25 Dec 2017?

Do you guys experience buffering issue with Netflix today on Unifi.

I am on Unifi 100 Mbps and I have buffering issue with Netflix, even loading the app is slow.

When I switch to my Digi or Maxis, my Netflix load instantly.

It is happening for my TV, PC and Phone so it is not device related issue.

Thank You

Happens to me too and I'm also using Unifi 30Mbps.
I can still get youtube in full 4K, but when switch to Netflix, sometimes stuck at 480p or 720p.

Previously almost no problem watching 4K Netflix maxed out at 15.26 mbps

Tested again last night and it was slow again (480p) around 9:30pm but no issues at 7:00pm (1080p above).

I had a live chat with TM service helpdesk, they said no throttling on Netflix service. Might be happening only to certain areas.

Could be congestion due to high usage in your area at that time. Are you using wired? If you're on wifi, could be due to wifi channel congestion. Try changing channels or maybe try 5ghz if your router supports it.

I'm using 5GHz wifi watching from my TV Netflix app. Router is basically next to my TV so it's most likely not my internal network issue.

I've asked around and there are a few who are facing the same problem. In any case hope it gets resolved soon.

Probably congestion then, nothing much can be done except to keep complaining to TM.

When streaming dropped to 480p
How was the speedtest during that time?

Speedtest was full speed during slow netflix stream, check youtube 4K and others no issue. So it was pretty much just Netflix specifically.

Over the weekend no slowdowns fortunately.

If that happens again, you should try streaming with & without vpn
I'd recommend expressvpn and try set other region like us or japan, can get cheap at garage sales.

Fast.com no longer reliable. It will be as fast as speedtest, but when really streaming Netflix, it will slow according to congestion at certain times.
