Can I ask, if I sign up with NF in Malaysia, and when I travel to US (let's say), will I get US content or I will be limited to MY content?

Thanks....
*
Yes, you'll get the USA content.. You'll get the content library of whichever country you login from.

What TV are you using?
*
2014 Samsung H6400.. Prior to this, was using it on an Android box connected to a plasma TV. So as pointed out network health is more important.. I got no buffering either on the PC or Mobile devices.

are u using panasonic smart tv too?if u do,can teach me how to clear cache?
*
Usually a cold power boot should clear the TV's cache. For example, on my TV.. It's Power off and unplug the power cable.. While unplugged, I press the power button behind the TV or on the remote (pointed to TV) for a few seconds. Stop, plug power cable back and switch on. Doing this plus a Modem-router reboot usually clears up any major issues.

What shows are you guys watching on Netflix Malaysia? I heard there are a lot of Malaysians still preferring to use a VPN to watch Netflix USA.
*
Quite a few so far.. What genre or TV shows you've watched interests you?

Is all Netflix on android tvbox support 480p and stereo sound only?
*
Not all boxes.. You see Netflix allows FHD or UHD on ONLY certified devices. Like the Nvidia Shield, latest MiBox Google Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, etc. These guys are officially certified by Netflix and are allowed by Netflix's servers to stream at maximum, depending on internet speeds and Netflix plan. All other non-certified devices are limited to 480p and stereo sound.

Thanks for the info. Poor to my hi media q10 pro.  wink.gif  The only way to stream 4K should be using my LG TV and arc HDMI sound to amplifier then.
*
You are welcome.. Yep, that's how most of us get full res and surround sound, by using the TV's app. In fact, It's exactly how I enjoy Netflix, same with YouTube and I prefer it this way... because the TV offers a very easy to navigate UI for playback and doesn't require having to power on the external device. This allows to get the best of both worlds. Use an external device for other needs the TV can't handle.

Justified, Suits, White Collar, Fairly Legal, Body of Proof, CSIs, Criminal Minds. I used to have Astro but now no so I'm not that up to date with the latest hit TV shows.

I'm a big fan of Christian Bale. So are the Batman films available on Netflix Malaysia? Big fan of Michael Fassbender. So are X-Men films and Assassin's Creed available? Also like Chris Hemsworth, Keanu Reeves, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Lawrence to name a few.
*
*Ozark, Marco Polo, Lucifer, Daredevil, Stranger Things, Narcos, The OA, Mindhunter, Dark, Suburra: Blood on Rome, Black Mirror and what I'm currently watching "La casa de papel". It's a Spanish Ocean's Eleven thingy..

where i can buy netflix voucher with a cheaper price??
*
Netflix doesn't use "vouchers".. Theirs is Gift Cards and aren't officially available in Malaysia. Google where to get Netflix Gift Cards.. Alternatively, you could search for individuals willing to share an account. So you both (or 4) use the same login info and split the monthly payments. As usual, risks involved.

What risk is that?
Steal your credit card number, email privacy.... hmm.gif
*
It's my usual disclaimer whenever I suggest others pay money to others. Four separate individuals using four different profiles must agree to pay without fail each month and not change the login details or use Netflix's service in such a way that would get the account banned.. Card risks, nonexistent IMO.. Can just use debit card.

QUOTE(al_madd @ Jan 17 2018, 11:57 PM)
Oh..okay then...

I think i can afford rm 50 per month

Just terminate my astro

just in my mind, i can get cheaper gift card compare pay monthly...
*
Yep, I've had mine for years now.. Prefer it under my full control. Besides, I need the profiles (Me, HM, Fam & Kids only content) to separate our viewing preferences. If under a fully occupied shared account, I believe only one profile per person. I don't like my recommendations list being muddled up with HM's drama or kid shows.. smile.gif

You can login on multiple devices but in fairness to others paying, do not operate on more than one device at a time. Else, you'd be preventing someone else from enjoying the service. not cool.

Nevermind.. I just use it personally for me only... Sometimes my wife will use netflix on her tablet.. So far netflix far better choices than iflix..

But iflix better in term of few tv show such as bingbanfg, flash..
*
Yep. Netflix is definitely a far better sell than iFlix. But that SD res....SD on a tablet is still okay. On larger screens? Not so much. My HM mostly watches Netflix. Don't think she's aware iFlix is right there for consumption too.. laugh.gif

Hi, I'm also facing this issue where Netflix is really slow sometime in the evening around 9pm onwards usually on weekdays.

Currently on Unifi 30mbps line. Speedtest shows full speed. Restart router and it's the same.

Check with my other account users, those on unifi facing same issue but one account on Maxis no such issue.

Is TM throttling Netflix at certain hours/days?

Still monitoring this.
*

Happens to me too and I'm also using Unifi 30Mbps.
I can still get youtube in full 4K, but when switch to Netflix, sometimes stuck at 480p or 720p.

Previously almost no problem watching 4K Netflix maxed out at 15.26 mbps
*
Fortunately, no such issue on my end.. 30Mbps plan..wired connection to TV..

Tested again last night and it was slow again (480p) around 9:30pm but no issues at 7:00pm (1080p above).

I had a live chat with TM service helpdesk, they said no throttling on Netflix service. Might be happening only to certain areas.
*
Looks like it.. Hope it gets resolved.

Does Netflix Malaysia comes with Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision and HDR with WCG?

I played Altered Carbon yesterday but my AVR only shows DD5.1 and although my display received 4K image, it's in REC709 and not the Bt2020 colour space
*
Sorry, don't have such systems and can't test. Though, I don't see why not. Perhaps another requirement wasn't met..

Dolby Atmos on Netflix.

Wrong place to discuss such.. Search this forum or Google is your friend.. Easy.. Netflix remains the best at what they do.

how do I delete my CC details in account section?
*
I don't think you can. Netflix is a continuing subscription and as such, requires a valid card/payment method on file with each account. You can either update the current card info with another, like say a debit card or cancel your account completely. Either way, no additional charges as long as done at least 24 hours before the current subscription ends. Just to be safe.

What i mean is Netflix movie seem outdated.. tongue.gif
but in term of movie loading and quality, Netflix is good.. rclxms.gif
I try google but not sure which one is worth to paid..(Too many)
*
Yeah... Precisely my point bro.. When I launch Netflix, I don't doubt the content will be there for playback.. It's scroll or search, hit play for instant streaming and relax.. No ads, no interruptions.. nothing.. Pause and can resume at the exact point at another day. Sure can be duplicated somewhat by the many other sources out there. Just none does it well like Netflix. Even Astro is susceptible to rain tongue.gif

As for which is worth.. You won't go wrong with a highly popular service. Ignore those services that screams.. "We have thousands of channels & VODs, bla bla"... Remember they aren't legit and as such do not have the sufficient manpower or resources to keep them all up.. Just juggling and everyday problems. The really good ones like to stay under the radar and make their cash.. So the more dedicated the team, the better. IMO...Oh yeah, know that any $ you cough up for such is .... moneyflies.gif moneyflies.gif .. So if they provide the service? Great! Else, move on to the next..

But Netflix package is same like you subs astro family pack. About RM42. Got no choice, need to shared my account for Premium.

Anyway, for better saving. Can share with cousin & friends.

Damage too much. Astro about 80-100 per month. Family like Korea drama more. Atleast can share up to 4 people.

Iflix only give 2 device stream at the same time. No HD a bit turnoff. sad.gif
*
IMO, I'd rather pay for Netflix than Astro.. Cuz they've got a business model I like (collect cash, get/make awesome content with no ads, rinse repeat).. But then, I'm no longer a sports fanatic who must watch live and know how to get the rest of the shows or content I like... Been with Netflix a couple years and plan to spend a couple more till either some other team overthrows them or they really start screwing us customers up.

TBH, iFlix is nice and doing a good job so far. I understand they probably don't have the resources to scale up and provide better services at this time. Not easy to go against deep pockets like Netflix, Hulu & Amazon.

House Of Cards S6 maybe will come late this year due to reason Netflix fires Kevin Spacey. sad.gif

No more Frank Underwood?
Latest teaser show his wife now take the president place.
*
Possibly no more.. ruined career. Even with the ending of the previous season, I noticed they were "grooming" Claire.

QUOTE(alucard89 @ Mar 7 2018, 06:35 PM)
They should've just cancelled it, the whole show revolves around Spacey and it's not the same without him.
It's not exactly a show like Being Human or Misfits where whole cast get replaced.
*
IKR... I can't imagine the show without him. Each time he does that thing where he talks to people and then us behind the screen and back again to the characters. It's so seamless and engaging... I know it probably took multiple takes but still..goosebumps.. smile.gif
