wow.. really feel =.= next time have to wait phone price jump water first for all android phone.. even S7 edge can get around rm25xx or 2600.. Sony hard to get the sales la unless the hardcore fans or super like sony phone..

The price drop should be mainly due to exchange rate adjustment. Last time when the Z5 series released it was the highest exchange rate.

Btw, there are still people likes the Z5 especially Z5P. Everytime i drop by Sony the Curve sure can see someone is buying the Z5P!

Not suprising, Z5 series is really underrated.

Sleek minimalist design without camera bump, feature packed, decent battery life, good camera with two-stage shutter button, waterproof and dust proof, expandable storage, stereo front facing speaker, light Android skin, PS4 integration, fingerprint scanner on side button, dual SIM.

But it doesn't get much love among review sites for some reason. Lack of marketing probably.

The android market trend is like that. That's why I sold off my S7E before the price drops.

Still holding tight my S7E coz it is an easy shooter though not like it oversharpen processing and SE5P as second phone

Z5 also over sharpens, with the pastel effect some more.

Yesterday my Sony Xperia Z5 dual is having some weird issue and I have no idea what is the reason or caused.

Phone goes into blank screen with only backlight and eventually after a few hours, the phone has managed to turn back on but then intermittently it went into multiple colour lines and then back to the backlight blank screen.

This occurs several times for couple hours then back to normal now so far. Noticed when tried to charge this phone, it sometimes will have the charging sound but the phone itself isn't charging.

Plug this into the PC USB port wanting to tried repair it through PC Companion as per suggested however the PC kept connect and disconnect the phone every 1 - 2 seconds.

Any idea what seems to be the issues?

i do face the problem that u have.. phone will hang and goes into blank screen.. then within few seconds will light on with some lines then and then will restart automatically.. i believe it's about software problem.. after reboot, it's okay again.. so i dont care about it..

Yes.. I also feel Sony and other brands was underrated by people. I'm not mean they are not fair.. just each personal preference are different. Consumer dont buy off, Sony cant do anything.

slightly over sharp processing for the lens.. but people buy it off the oversharped and saturated camera.. it's really depend on softwre processing for each brand.

Can say not really impressed. Still prefer to use my XZU although it's aging.
Plus, the edges are disturbing and finding the perfect screen protector is always an issue.

imo its really price cuts like these that make ppl lose faith in brands.
just ending May 1st for a week or so they had some euro2016 promo, with kinda pointless free gifts, at pre-rm400 cut retail price.
those who bought then probably saying some unthinkable swear words at sony now

Apple recently also cut prices on its 16gb model as probably too due to poor sales. You had only 9gb usable space n is definitely unsuitable for most users

i like it but SD810, furthermore the price is same is others SD820 device...
i prefer SD820 then...

well for me it is enough woh... maybe i got 2 device so i can split location of storage...
entertainment is at one phone and other is just for whatsapp and emails...

only if the price is right. but judging from europe's price, the X is price just a bit less than S7 and G5. This is too expensive IMO.
