So far doesn't seem like there's news on official Marshmallow release for Z5 family? Just beta testing right?
LG, HTC and even perennial slowpoke Samsung are getting their updates within these couple of days.

Is it confirmed that there's no adoptable storage for Sony Marshmallow?

Anyone experiencing this bug where after you verify your fingerprint, you still need to enter the PIN?

UPDATE: Nope, doesn't work. Every time I wake my phone from deep sleep, after I verify my fingerprint, I still need to put in the 4 digit PIN. Nobody else facing this issue? Maybe I need to go the nuclear option of reinstalling FW

QUOTE(pekak07 @ Apr 21 2016, 11:42 AM) Why every one out of five times after I unlock my I be with fingerprint I am still required to type the pin ah?? I asked this question a while back. In the end, I identified the issue from my lockscreen widget. Everytime I use the widget to lock screen, that issue happens. The main "problem" comes back to the Smart Lock feature. Everytime it "hard-locks", you'll need to type pin regardless of fingerprint. So 2 ways to solve: 1) Set your frequent locations as trusted locations in Smart Lock in settings 2) Use the power button to lock and unlock instead of software lock like widgets.

Revenue dipped 20 percent on last year, which Sony explains as being partly down to "a strategic decision not to pursue scale in order to improve profitability." While the operating loss was much lower than last year's ¥217.6 billion, that figure included a ¥176 billion impairment charge; it's not at all clear how Sony ever expects to find profitability in this segment. Oh Sony Enjoy the Z5 guys, it may be one of the last Sony phone generations. Pity, as the hardware build and design for Z5 is really good.

Not suprising, Z5 series is really underrated.
Sleek minimalist design without camera bump, feature packed, decent battery life, good camera with two-stage shutter button, waterproof and dust proof, expandable storage, stereo front facing speaker, light Android skin, PS4 integration, fingerprint scanner on side button, dual SIM.
But it doesn't get much love among review sites for some reason. Lack of marketing probably.

Dunno if it's gorilla glass but I went without screen protector at the start and there were micro scratches on the screen (I dont keep keys in same pocket or had any drops)
Would suggest to leave on a plastic screen protector at the very least.

I think the camera has improved a lot with software updates compared to when I first got the phone.
And Sony's Android builds so far have been really stable for me. Very rare, almost none of the memory leaks and battery drains that I used to suffer with Samsung and Nexus phones.
Very impressed, just sad that it doesn't look like Sony is going to last for long in the smartphone business judging by Xperia X/XA's sales perfoamce
