i hardly understand the issue but is there like a 2 stage click when you press the camera shutter?

mls_gamer volume maxed out? if yes, then it's normal as the speakers are protected with a sealant to prevent water from entering.

BTW, all the Z5 series receive a RM400 price cut.
Z5C - RM1899
Z5 - RM2299
Z5P - RM2699

ic, ya i bought my Z5C with rm400 discount, free 32GB class 10 card, casing, and screen protector at SONY jusco seremban 2 ...

Hello all! Just got my SEZ5P! Everything's just perfect except the charging speed. Is there anyway I can speed up the charging? Grrr...
*
The supplied charger is not quick charge compliant and the phone packs 3430mah of juice in it. So expect a 3-4 hours charging time from flat to 100.
But then, it's no longer SE, it's SX (Sony Xperia)

QUOTE(Upsilon @ May 4 2016, 01:25 PM)
SE?
on the slow charging speed, are you using a quick-charge compliant charger?
*
I believe he meant Sony Ericsson. laugh.gif

Yes. Basically, you just need a Quick Charge 2.0 adapter, regardless brand.

Quick Charge 2.0 will do right? What if 3.0? Makes any difference?

No difference. The phone will still operate under QC2.0 specifications.
Difference between 3.0 and 2.0 is that 3.0 offers a more dynamic output up to 20V, while 2.0 operates at 5V/9V/12V

Recently saw some query about Quick charge 2.0.. Then I post my experience with my aukey charger then..

I do have 1 quick charger and use it to charge my z5p. Probably my USB port do have some problem, it will feel loose for my phone. So I can't get really quick charge from my unit. Maybe I have to send my phone to service center to get micro USB port replace.

Theorically it should 1% per minute. From 0 to 75% like that, around 60~70 minutes only.. it's quite fast if compare with normal Sony bundled charger.. probably take nearly 140 minutes to full charged the z5 premium, but sony charger will take more than 3 hours..

so overall, quick charge is good for you to get phone charge up to 75~80% battery life in quick time.. last 20% is slow as normal..

That Aukey... 1 port (orange) is Quickcharge 2.0 and the other two normal USB port yes?
I'm planning to get the 5-port Aukey charger.

Anyway, finally got myself a Z5C, after the price-drop rclxm9.gif
Owned Z1C and Z3C previously.

5 port comes in a brick like adapter, that means messy wires. tongue.gif

ChuanHong how does it loose? Like wobbly cable?

Yes. 1 port is quick charge and another 2 ports also quick good. Charge faster than ipad charger. I bought this mainly are because ipad charger broken also to check the impact of quick charge. So far quite OK with it.

Hmm. My z5p choose cable to charge. Not all microusb are able to charge it. I sent to service center and they also feel weird. Need send to KL for further inspection. But I don't want, since there are some cables able to charge my phone then just sit leave it. Maybe I will get 1 mid range handset again to replace z5p during warranty service inspection.

Wonder when is the stamina mode update gonna hit us. Without the stamina mode battery life is mediocre. Always 3-4 hours SOT only. Compared to the s7 edge damn jelly.

Uninstalling Facebook app worked wonders for battery life. Use browser for fb.

Tried taking photos at the river. Experienced a key issue. When submerged, the smart connect kept triggering in a loop. So it makes the phone uninterractable.

noticed that too, brought my phone to swim @ waterpark pool, and then water somehow got into the headphone port. Before the thing dried out, the phone kept thinking a headphone was consistently plugged and unplugged repeatedly, so the speaker was stuttering, and that made the phone unresponsive for a while. Turning off all the volumes helped though.

One of the reason why Sony advises that don't dip into water although it had IP certification.
