Erm i didnt back up they told me they wont format the laptop, as it is just screen replacement.

nothing is concrete until actual announcement.

no harm to wait till then. but of course there is possibility that they may not even offer 2015 model after 2016 is released except refurbished (apple sg store only).

Mine having same problem but no times send for repair because of heavy traveling.

Will send on Monday because warranty will end by 23 july

They give 3 months warranty for the replacement screen as well

i bought it in march, now got few like very tiny patch at screen but can easily wipe using wiping cloth. paranoid much

will wait till august (5 months) and see if anything develops direct send for repair

Mine the patches cannot wipe off, it is left there as permanent stain

tues early morning wwdc will finally come. But I think high chance that apple will disappoint me again for not annoucing any MacBook.

Means we can't use slightly damp cloth to wipe the screen?

I've not tried cleaning my laptop yet.

By the way, does anyone know where to buy Mini DisplayPort to VGA Adapter for our MBPr and how much does it cost?

Someone told me it's around Rm20 but all those i see are more than RM100.

First Mac Retina from Mid 2012, but as 2016 hinge got loose and rubber attached on screen is falling apart.

After my mac pro close down the screen , it should be on sleep mode . but why do my mouse that plug in are still on red light ?

Water should be fine. Just not those alcohol based or the so called screen cleaner liquid.
