My force touch trackpad has an additional like a loose bearing sound on click whenever the MBP feels warm. Sound is faint, the trackpad still works but it happens very persistently at the same lower right area. However it disappears whenever I do second stage force click on the area a few times. Does anyone of you experience the same problem?

QUOTE(Xiia0Ban @ Feb 26 2016, 11:06 AM) That's some good news indeed. I hope they can stand out and be more superior over Windows Cortana.

Patient. They are probably redesigning the chassis. The reason for delay?

QUOTE(Lego Warfare @ Mar 30 2016, 12:31 PM) If that's really happening, it'll be a short lived transference from my MBP13" for 5 months to a Surface Pro 4 for 4 months and again to a MBP13" 2016 lol. But i'll be very skeptical on how they'll be able to deal with heat management in a similar 12" slim body type. Fitting a fan would be very cramped, plus it'll be doubtful if they can fit in heat sinks as well. Considering the 2015 13" version didn't handle heat too nicely, i'd be wary of stressing a slimmer 13" MBP... Maybe they will use something like the dual pipe heatsink that is being used on Xperia Z5 and Samsung S7 edge.

QUOTE(wiraone @ Apr 9 2016, 08:44 PM) This probably has been discussed before, the warranty of my wife mbp 13 retina has just expired and I just found out that some parts of her screen has some coating damage. I have no idea why she didn't tell me, she said it was okay for her. Anyway, checking the internet, it seems to be a common problem on some batches. Has anybody with the same problem with expired warranty successfully ask for it to be fixes foc? Here is how it looks, for me it is pretty bad, for he it is okay [attachmentid=6345662] Ouch! Is this the early 2015 version? I though it stops from 2012 onwards...

QUOTE(silverwave @ Jun 12 2016, 03:48 PM) Means we can't use slightly damp cloth to wipe the screen? I've not tried cleaning my laptop yet. Water should be fine. Just not those alcohol based or the so called screen cleaner liquid.

QUOTE(Zaryl @ Jun 29 2016, 09:19 PM) Is it wise to buy the MBPr 13" now, or just wait until September for the new refreshed MBPr that utilize intel skylake 6th gen CPU? on another question, is 13" MBPr that heavy? 1.7kg only right? It is way too long for the refreshed model imo. So you should wait. I bet it will be redesigned and it is going to be a wow.

My 13" laptop battery bought last May was bloated. Went to Machines SVC and the repair time mentioned is 3 weeks. How come it takes so long. It is only a battery. I look at ifixit and it was easy to remove as well. Anyone has any experience on it and how long does it usually takes?

QUOTE(remix2040 @ Jul 20 2016, 09:11 AM) They don't serve you only, your Highness. They have others too. 3 weeks is like an insurance policy. Maybe can be done in a week. Have to call them to find out. Taking off battery is super easy and can be replaced under 10 minutes depending on your technical proficiency. Ya, no choice. Need to wait. I bet they want to get it done asap too. Even shipping parts over they are giving themselves 10 days insurance policy even when they could get as fast as NBD. Anyway If I can get it on the 26th I will be super happy. For the newer models, they actually replace the entire topcase as it was glued with the battery. So it comes with new keyboard, and new trackpad as well.

QUOTE(neorage_x @ Nov 5 2016, 04:33 PM) My mbp charger adapter cable have started to break. any suggestion for quick fixes? Thinking to tape around it but not sure is enough? Tape it as tight as possible. Staple it along the tape, then wrap it around with the tape again.

QUOTE(calvincty @ Nov 7 2016, 09:54 PM) Just got a 13" macbook pro 2016 base line without touch bar from Japan Apple Store today, the speaker is amazing and the keyboard is much more better than what I'm expected. To be honest, I even type faster and more accurate than existing mid-2012 non-retina MacBook Pro. Been using it with max scaled resolution and working great, doesn't installed some really "pro" software on it but setup-ed my daily apps for documents and programming task. Nothing to complain so far, I'm happy with what I've spent How is your new macbook pro keyboard vs the 2016 macbook?

I will never go back to Windows ever. It could be an additional computer but no way it is going to be my sole computer.

QUOTE(Yougene_Boy @ Nov 16 2016, 09:32 AM) You have your point bro, my concern is only hardware failure. Cost will be so high guess most of the users have same concern Apple provided 2016 mbp SSD read/write speed is 5x faster than OWC's version. Plus without TRIM support on the latter, subsequent rewrites will make the drive slower and user experience to drop. Besides SSD can normally last a lifetime. You just have to be careful on the programs that you install for example Spotify case. For case like this habis.

QUOTE(Yougene_Boy @ Nov 18 2016, 10:47 PM) I bet this 2016 Mbp would be an unique creation Apple ever made. Next version might be totally diff, those we wanted would be put back onto it They redesign every 4 years and have been pretty consistent since 2008.
