QUOTE(Higgsboson8888 @ Jan 6 2016, 09:23 PM) Yes it is. Made a terrible mistake when buying one. Now I'm thinking about getting Transcend JetDrive Lite 330 Same problem as me. 128gb is too small. Should have gottenr the 256gb when it was cheap. Now i also using the Jetdrive Lite

QUOTE(westlife @ Jan 7 2016, 09:16 AM) 128GB became the greatest bottleneck that limits the usability of the device similar to 16GB iPhone. Resell value is low too for 128GB version of MacBook. Last time the 256gb version seem to be too expensive But now the prices even more crazy high Guess will have to live with 128gb for another 5-6 years

QUOTE(wwoosy @ Jan 7 2016, 09:57 AM) I'm wondering if by using Jetdrive Lite 330 can actually use it like normal OSX HDD for softwares, not only limited to media, docs etc. Not so sure, but i think should be able to. Currently I only moved my Dropbox and iTunes Media folder inside

QUOTE(westlife @ Jan 7 2016, 06:11 PM) But due to the insufficient storage space and u are forced to purchase additional external storage. The extra cost incurred is actually the same plus as it is external storage instead of internal one, u will need to live with some limitation of it. Ya, last time thought that 128GB was enough as I do not install alot of apps. Mana tau so fast the storage depleted

QUOTE(westlife @ Jan 7 2016, 09:23 PM) If it is not enough now, it will be greater challenger as the OS and app size will grow even larger in size in future. After getting the Jetdrive Lite, should be able to last at least 5 to 6 years more for me as I not so heavy user

Does the rMBP screen has some sort of coating layer? I noticed there are like "scratches" on the screen, which I think it looks more like the coating wearing off. Any of you guys face this issue?

QUOTE(Lego Warfare @ Feb 7 2016, 04:43 PM) Existing problem with rMBPs since years back. I think Apple has finally agreed to fix it if yours is still under warranty. Mine just finished warranty already Didnt get the Apple Care plan I googled the problem and I saw their cases all so much worse compared to mine "small spots" only. Will wait fir it to bcom worse then only contact Apple Care

QUOTE(jumpstat @ Feb 10 2016, 09:35 AM) I have some minor marks on mine too, looking a it, it may due to the screen touching the keyboard. Anyway its not effecting the usage of the notebook. I have also tested using the nbook outside in the open, so far like normal. Mine not noticeable when the screen is on, so I can still tahan the small patches Will email Apple Care when the condition becomes worse
