These are the softwares that I have installed that keeps my rmbp in top form...
1.Battery Health
2.Memory clean
3.Disk Doctor
4.Duplicate Finder
5.Malwarebytes Anti Malware
6.Macs Fan Control
7.Updating Mac Os whenever available.

Some of the above are freeware and some need to purchase. Anyways the combination above makes my mac happy and I have no major issues since.

i used 9.1.1 before. then crashed a lot. tried restore safari to 8.0.8 then got messed up. i solved it by reinstalling the whole system using time machine backup.

Just wondering can we restore our time machine backup into a new partition without reinstalling the OS?

wrap part of the cord around it ears... do not fully extend it. this way can avoid the plug being accidentally tugged.

I do agree. As the new macbook is more refined with better specs comparing them.

Yes,. one may argue that air is cheaper now, actually compare spec such as screen, touch pad or any other features. The 'saving' does not even worth it for the sacrifices. Unless one really budgetly constrain or what. I dun think it is a good buy at all.

If I am not mistaken, anti reflective coating issues got no expiry. Someone posted much earlier that they have replacement program for this issue. But if the unit is a recent buy <7 days, exchange 1 to 1, if not they replace the lcd which unfortunately may take some time.

I too have issues on mine but in my opinion is not so severe. It like lines here and there which during operation does not impede on the usage experience, so I do not mind.

This coating is to minimise any reflection when we use the macbook outside in the broad daylight. So far I use it with no ill effect. Thats is why i am holding on to it and not send it back for repairs. I do not have a spare notebook for work.
