I actually saved up for 2016 MBP, then that happened. So disappointed man.

Yeah, my 2012 model is still working fine but it's a little heavy for me already.

The new one requires me to have additional adapters etc etc omg. So frustrated with Apple.

price drop also still expensive like hell....
is the adapter is good quality, the price justify,
but lately all apple adapter / cable feel cheap...
easy to damage like my lighting cable broken after few use only...
in the past the cable / adapter all can last few year but now...haiz...

quality wise not excellent, but reasonable. compatibility wise is definitely not issue.

what to do, i left with only 1 lighting cable, all other broken in just few use.....

I have the 2014 13/8/256 rmbp. Mainly use for work. Anyway a while ago saw an oppurtunity to buy some games which was on offer for dirt cheap, so I bought the roller coaster tycoon 3. Just started playing it like a few days ago and very impressed with the performance of my rmbp. I even played it with the highest resolution and performance just to gauge its capability.

What I noticed was that, the rmbp is capable but on a full charge it take under 2 hours to deplete it. The fan runs most of the time and the chassis is running much hotter than usual. my battery efficiency is around 88%@350 cycles. When I stopped playing the RCT3 and just do normal works stuff/surfing, I can still get about 6 to 7 hours solid.

So my question is that normal playing graphically intense games on the rmbp?

just purchased a 2015 MBP used from a forummer. RM4.5k for i5 8g 256gb config.

saving up the money for new set of monitors instead.

I had one already for my 12-inch MacBook already. Maybe will consider to get extra one since the price is really a lot cheaper. The time i bought price is damn high.

The base spec (non touch bar) is actually cheaper than the Macbook lol. Our rm drop like shit no choice don't tell me u wait until it goes back up only u buy meh..

The touchbar version is more expensive but ok la the touchbar is very nice...Only problem is they are using a dated processor.

My mbp charger adapter cable have started to break. any suggestion for quick fixes? Thinking to tape around it but not sure is enough?
