Is your AppStore USA based?
*
I'm not sure about this.

QUOTE(dreamthief @ Nov 7 2016, 09:23 PM)
AppStore Malaysia is using USD by default. Nothing you can do to change that.

Only a few countries will have their own currency listed in AppStore.
*
I see, I thought they'd show different currencies for different countries.

Hmm.. someone mentioned that it's shown in USD; I don't think so but I am not 100% sure - in fact, I think he could be wrong. Can't check also because I am tied to the US store.

Doesn't matter actually.

But I just realised that a clean installed macOS does not comes with iWork.

Any suggestion on this? Cause buying the Pages/KeyNote/Numbers suite need US$60

Apple Store Malaysia is in RM. AppStore Malaysia i.e. the iOS Apps that you buy is in USD.

not yet. Another two more weeks. Now looking to buy the casing for it. But Moishi does not seem to release the case for the new MacBook pro 2016 yet.

Hmm... login using the original iTunes Account and it should be there (provided you have it in the first place)

Yes of course! You just have to get it formatted the right way. FAT32 would allow it to be used on Windows & MacOS biggrin.gif

2 more weeks? Have they charged your credit card yet? Mine got charged yesterday so I am keeping fingers crossed that it means it's been processed for shipping but otherwise on paper, I still have another 6 weeks to wait *egad*

It's not being charged. Apple is issuing an authorization check.

It's like how you go to hotel, reservation by swiping credit card but no actual charge yet.

When Apple does the credit card charge, it will follow by invoice.

I believe for my case the moment I had placed order. The amount has already been charged to my credit card. As I had received the SMS from Citibank on my purchase. When I logged in to check my credit balance. The amount charged was already minused off from my available balance. But the transaction was not shown under the unbilled or pending transaction. It will only be shown when Apple has confirmed the amount when they ship the item.

Just got a 13" macbook pro 2016 base line without touch bar from Japan Apple Store today, the speaker is amazing and the keyboard is much more better than what I'm expected. To be honest, I even type faster and more accurate than existing mid-2012 non-retina MacBook Pro.

Been using it with max scaled resolution and working great, doesn't installed some really "pro" software on it but setup-ed my daily apps for documents and programming task. Nothing to complain so far, I'm happy with what I've spent smile.gif

How is your new macbook pro keyboard vs the 2016 macbook?

after some research on the internet, I believe the iWork only comes free if I'm the first to purchase the mac, hence login into the mac would tie the ownership to my apple ID.

a clean format of the mac would not have iWork installed, sigh...
