Asus last longer... msi gg around 2yrs... both aftersales shitty..but rog design... meh...n MSI pls check the panel.. color very fast fade. Non IPS I think

Usage : video editing and gaming
Display : 15 inch and above.
GPU : at least GT950m
CPU : i5 skylake minimum.
brands wont matter.

nope. I'm considering sacrificing the touch. I'm still not sure what to get. the new acer alpha 12 is almost perfect except that it doesn't support thunderbolt 3 and no usb-c charging.

oh i was referring to inspiron 5548 suggested by myway1985. yep the one suggested by you was indeed i5 6200u. no choice but to increase the budget now then
