Looking for a laptop. Any recommendation?

1. Preferred Brand: any brand, but prefer Asus as i have been using one for 6 years without major problem.
2. Budget: less than RM2,100
3. Usage: Downloads, online surfing, MS Office, light movies
4. Preferred laptop/screen size: 13" or 14"
5. Other preference:
a. Intel i5 processor, if not i3 also can
b. Do not require touchscreen
d. Do not require optical drive
e. 2 years warranty if available.

I'm looking a new laptop for my sister. Budget is a bit tight, so something that is bang for the bucks will be needed here. Light thin laptop will be better as she will be moving here and there.

Thanks.

Not sure about the new zenbook 3 since it's just launch yesterday at computex, and earliest to reach our shore is by Aug 2016. I did check up the current zenbook - UX305CA, kinda dislike the power button above backspace, no backlit keyboard, speaker too soft and the touchpad kinda hard to use for me.

what is ips panel? 4k display?
asus GL752VW is using ips too?

i did try select ILLEGEAR Z7 in it's website

ILLEGEAR Z7
Details :
Display: 17.3" Full HD Anti-glare IPS/AHVA sRGB 100% Color & Wide View (1920 x 1080)
Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-6700HQ (6MB Smart Cache, 2.60GHz)
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M 4GB GDDR5 with Optimus (Maxwell)
Thermal Compound: Stock Standard Thermal Compound - CPU & GPU
RAM: 16GB Dual Channel DDR4 RAM 2133MHz - 2 X 8GB
1st SATA Drive: 250GB Crucial MX200 Solid State Drive
1st M.2 Solid State Drive: None
Wireless Network Card: Intel Dual Band Wireless-N 7265 M.2 - WLAN & Bluetooth 4.0 Combo
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64bit Edition
Warranty: ILLEGEAR 2 Year Carry-In Warranty
Accessories: ILLEGEAR Backpack & Velvet Sleeve

the 1st SATA Drive & 1st M.2 Solid State Drive make me confuse, how to select if i want SSD 256Gb as my OS, 1TB HDD for movie storage?
RM5766, compare to Asus, price higher RM766, i think will more higher if add 1TB HDD

IPS is a screen technology for lcd screen
it's created to give more color accuracy and wide viewing angle compared to TN panel which is widely use in laptops because it's cheaper but it has limitation such as low color accuracy and limited wide viewing where it give you shifted color in extreme viewing angle.
you can try google to get more detail about IPS.
asus GL752VW are not using IPS panel but it use TN panel.

just choose M.2 it's fastest than SSD
take 128GB since it's sufficient to put OS then choose 1TB HDD for storage
they will installed the OS on the fastest storage like in your case, they will installed the OS in M.2 ssd
or want more cheaper option, take DOS (no OS) instead.

i didn't put dell because it doesn't have dual channel so you cant upgrade your ram to 16GB like you mentioned in your preference.

Always 2 ram slot... only 3000 series 1 ram slot.. if not how I sell 16gb (2*8)

The single channel it's means is only 1 pc ram inside...
